In the end nothing could and would stop him from doing what needed to be done, she was warned and then ordered to stop and she ignited everyone even the highest order, she caused her own fate, he felt no sympathy for her , he was simply protecting his family from a deranged and rabid animal, that deserved to be put down .

In the end this was a mercy putting the suffering animal out of its misery, how anyone else could have let it go on this long was beyond him.

Lute wanted death and he would grant her that death, but it wouldn’t be swift or painless no she lost that right the moment she set her eyes on his daughter .

For now he let the lightbringer burn her soul, letting her feel the judgment that he still had the authority to carry , the one sign that his father truly hadn’t abandon him yet, the flames of his sword hotter then any hell or holy fire created save for the sword his brother carried.

Once he was satisfied she wouldn’t be coming back from this he gripped the pommel and pulled his blade out of her chest , whipping it to the side to cleanse her blood off of it before sheathing it.
