i really hate how ayato is represented as a copy and paste genderbent ayaka and he gets praised for it while ayaka is being waved off as a poorly written character

ayato, the faceless voice we know next to nothing about that literally took over itto's trailer. the guy who's appearance isn't even confirmed and y'all are out here simping for what boils down to genderbent ayaka and the bare bones of his character

it's the way we know literally nothing about him and he's getting more attention than the literal canon character you're basing everything about him off of. even then he doesn't have much to his name

just say he's liked better bc he's male, mfg

oh yeah obligatory it's not limited to only those two, like the issue is that male characters overshadow their "counterpart" (or really, all of the female characters) and it's annoying, frankly. the male characters receive all the attention
