My thoughts on The L Word: Generation Q - Episode 5:

SPOILERS AHEAD:

1. This is the first episode where we really got a sense of who Quiana is as a person and how her and Shane work as a couple and honestly, not much of a fan. There isn't much chemistry there and she's just manipulative af, imo

2. I absolutely loved Dani standing up to her dad for Sophie, but absolutely hate how she reacted afterwards, not being able to/wanting to open up to Sophie and talk to her

3. I DO NOT like that preview with Sophie and Finley. I always expected the downfall/obstacle in Sophie and Dani's relationship to be Dani sleeping with Bette, but now I think it may be Finley and Sophie sleeping together and just... ugh.

4. Finley breaks my heart. She reminds me so much of myself and I just want someone to love her for who she is (except for Sophie).

5. I LOVE THIS ALICE/GIGI/NAT STORYLINE. Like please L Word writers... give us the thruple we deserve. Its 2020. We are ready for it. (Seriously though, I dig Alice and Gigi way more than Alice and Nat so if we can't have the thruple, can Alice at least switch wives?)

6. Bette was a bit more exciting this episode, but still they need something to make her more relatable again.

7. Tess is just kind of getting on my nerves and it seems like she is going to be an integral part of the show moving forward, so meh.

Dani was on fire. 

Or maybe she was floating, she wasn't quite sure, but the general feeling was awesome. The bar had been full, the owners had seem very pleased, and pleased owners meant they had another shot to come there, also, the energy was great, the whole thing had been awesome. She hadn't realized how much she had missed that feeling until they were coming down the stage. Her home was the stage, she should have never left it. 

She saw her group of friends and went there to say hi, when she spotted Elliott, she smiled and opened her arms to hug him. "How was it? Be honest, because I messed up the lyrics that one time, you heard right? That was embarrassing." She asked, talking a mile per hour. Okay, maybe she was a little stage-high.

LOCATION: Midtown Manhattan, New York

NOTES: Dani and Santana meet to have a piano lesson. 

Dani waited for Santana outside her friend's house. After some teasing about how she was using him and his poor piano to get the girl, he agreed to lend it to them for the usual exchange of food and/or booze. There were people over anyway, some them were her friends too, and she just hoped they wouldn't tease her too, or tried to sing every scale she tried to teach Santana. Most of her friends didn't think twice whether something they did was weird or not. 

She started humming some nameless song, to be honest, her fingers were itching to play something. It had been so long. She also wondered what would Santana like to play, not that they would get to modern songs that day, but it'd be good to know so she could bring music sheets for when... yeah, she hoped she didn't scared her away, or something. Dani was easy going, she really was, but sometimes when it came to music and teaching she could get a little intense. She really wanted to get to know Santana, so going all Miss Trunchbull on her wouldn't help...

She had also took a few extra shifts at the bar so she could send money to her sister, her mind wandered for a moment, wondering how she was dealing; she had to remind herself that worrying wouldn't help and she, also, didn't want to get into a weird mood when good things were happening. She found the glasses and took them to the living room. "So, this is the best I could find, we could still going out, it's not that late." She called out, looking down so she wouldn't step accidentally on Cale's tail.
