The form is derived from a wave, whose geometry is etched in detail on the surface. The 3D form is a low definition version of the same etched wave. It flattens to a grid when viewed from a distance.
Drawing Table renders a wave’s geometry in 524,000 polygons. One square is drawn in ballpoint pen every day of the exhibition. These drawings are placed on top of the simplified 524 poly mesh.
