Behold the dawn of the Red Robot!
I wanted to do an illustration of a lesser known historical figure in the West. After a bit of research I discovered an interesting Queen by the name of Aminatu. Aminatu was an African Muslim warrior Queen. Her kingdom was Zazzau (now known as Zaria.). There is debate amongst historians as to whether Aminatu lived in the 15th or 16th century. My illustration of Aminatu quickly morphed into a comic book cover. I had real fun creating the Arabic inspired typography.
