I got swept into DanPlan. Honestly? Gives me comfort and nostalgia, due to me being into EddsWorld in the past.. I just like animated friends who.. Go into weird scenarios. Is that a real genre?

So apparently, Stephen left Danplan

I personally support Stephens decision to leave. Not only was he no longer happy, but he was disrespected as a member as a whole.

I don’t think Daniel had any kind of right to say what he said, because like yeah, Stephen may not have edited or drawn any of the videos, but he did bring more people. His humor, his open attitude and mind made people stick around.He and Hosuh’s interactions and dynamic made not only me, but my sister come back for more and practically fall in love with the channel. He tried so hard to prove himself, but in the end it didn’t work.

Will ‘I’ as an individual continue to watch Danplan?

As much as I’m disappointed in Daniel’s behavior and how he treated Stephen, I can’t bring myself to stop watching the channel as a whole. Just because of Daniels actions, the rest of the team shouldn’t have to suffer and put in hard work for nothing. I’d prefer to hear both sides of the story before I make a decision about everything and being able to process it all. I’m also really disappointed in the Fandom’s behavior, the only comments I could find on the latest video were all “Don’t attack Dan!”. Which yeah, Dan gets it, Stephen left. Doing that is not only going against why Stephen made the video,but as well as his wishes.

Stephen made the video as a way to let those who cared know why he left. In hindsight,the signs were there if you knew where to look, in his stream form 3 weeks ago, he talked about how his character shtick was becoming boring, he also put on many different roles (formal mafia Stephen, Cuddly zombie Stephen, MMMM-hosuh Stephen). Which is what he talked about in his video,he wanted to prove to Dan he was worth a part of the team. 

What does this mean for the future of Danplan?

As I’ve stated before, I’m disappointed in Daniel, but I personally can’t stop watching the old videos, at least until I heard both sides of the story. Hosuh had tried to keep things together, but as we can see, it was in vain. Stephen highly regrets dragging Hosuh into his fight with Daniel, and is deeply sorry to leave him alone. Which is why many people are still watching the channel, just because of one idiotic decision made by Daniel does not mean the rest of the team including Hosuh should put hard work into nothing. But as I have stated- WE NEED BOTH SIDES OF THE STORY! - We cannot formulate any kind of assumptions or opinions on the rest of the team just yet.

The team will continue to strive, and hopefully Daniel will change and everything works out. Please, don't go harass Dan or other members of the team. The future for Danplan is uncertain, so please do not leave hate comments on the latest video, ke-peesh?
