Younger Daniel:
While the two of you are dating, he'll always find an excuse to take you to the beach. Long early morning walks before school, hanging around at the beach for the end of a date. He always has an excuse to be there with you. Even if the weather is terrible, it'll always be one of the first places he suggests the two of you meet up as long as there isn't any trouble around.
Daniel is absolutely the type to climb through your bedroom window if you ever mentioned it was okay for him to sneak in to see you. He's usually restless at night and will take any opportunity to spend more time with you. He'll stay there until the early hours of the morning just to sneak back out again to go home.
If Daniel continues to compete professionally, he’d want you there for all of his competitions. If not, he’d even just want your company while he trains and practices. He loves your company, and karate takes up s lot of his time. He might as well enjoy both to get the most out of it.
Daniel would absolutely skip school and detention if it meant spending more time with you. He can’t bear being away from you for long periods of time, and even an hour in a different class from you feels like too long for him.
He will also try to make sure you know he’s committed very early on, even before the two of you have a properly established relationship. He’ll even bring you home as soon as you’re comfortable with it, and introduce you to everyone as his official partner.
Daniel is incredibly protective of you, even just to make sure you’re as happy as you can be each day. He stands his ground even when he’s outnumbered and needs to fight just to make sure you get home safe, and there’s not a single night he won’t walk you all the way home.
Older Daniel:
Daniel will absolutely shower you with presents every time he has the opportunity to. No matter where he goes, he always comes home with something for you to show that he was thinking about you while he was away.
Daniel will always make a big deal out of anniversaries or events for you. He wants you to feel appreciated, so he always goes out of his way to plan things that are over the top if you'll let him. If not, he'll still go out of his way to make you feel special, but in a much smaller and intimate way that you're comfortable with.
He will always find the time to take you on dates or have special nights at home with you. No matter how busy the two of you might be with work or other things in life, he'll always find a way to work around it and make time for this. He finds it incredibly important, and spending time with you is one of his favourite things.
Daniel prefers to keep his family incredibly close knit. He couldn't imagine being distant in his family, or not constantly spending time with them. Because of this, he'll plan as many family holidays into the year as he can and will always make a big deal out of seasonal holidays to make the time even more special for everyone.
He'll mention you in almost every conversation that he has with others if he's able to. You're always on his mind, and he always feels the need to express that and speak highly of you. Whether you're there or not, he'll make sure your achievements are known and how much he appreciates you being in his life.

Cheerleader AU! Where both Daniel and Johnny end up being on the cheerteam at school. They both hate each other because they want to be “the guy” on the cheerleading team. They constantly argue in front of the team. Trying to get the same role for practice and games. It gets physical so many times that the coaches have to pull them off of each other.
Daniel always ends up walking of with Ali and Susie.
While Johnny sneers at him, throwing his duffle bag over his shoulder and walking off with the cobras.
Then one day Reader moves to town, with a big smile she comes to the football field after school looking to try out for the team. She talks with the coaches telling them she was on her last schools cheerteam. She knows the team has already had tryouts for the year but in her defense it was still the beginning school year. Doing the most she could she gives them puppy dog eyes as she asks to join the team. The coaches step away for a quick chat with each other. They admit that one of the girls from last year transferred out last minute leaving a spot open. With that being said they go back and tell Reader she's in.
She practically skips across the field to meet everyone. She's so excited to be on a new team and meet new people.
Most of the girls are really nice to her but some of them start giving her the side eye pretty quickly. They take notice of the fact that's shes a bit bigger than most of the other girls on the team. She is curvy and chubby, most of the other girls are either super athletic or on the skinny side. Mentally they question what position she is going to take on the team. Reader chats with some of the girls, hoping to get to know them a bit better.

He definitely would not be easy to forgive you. Daniel is a HOTHEAD so he’s going to avoid apologizing to you at all cost. It isn’t until someone talks some sense into him that he’ll realize he’s acting like a jackass and apologize to you.

Very gentle physical and mostly gentle emotionally. Daniel can be a very passionate person about the things he likes and does. So he may not always consider you emotions before saying or doing something.

- When Daniel first heard piano music playing softly from one of the rooms in his apartment complex, he’d immediately assumed that it was one of the older residents. For some reason, the idea of it being someone his age never crossed his mind.
- But here he was, lingering at your front door as your fingers glided across the keys, so focused on the sheet music in front of you and the movement of your hands that you didn’t even notice him standing there.
- Your mother had gone to her car for something and had left the door slightly ajar, giving him the perfect view of you sitting at your piano. And what a view it was.
- You were obviously around his age and beautiful to boot. He couldn’t believe his luck. A few days ago he was mourning his move to California and now he was neighbors with the prettiest girl he had ever seen.
- You finished your song and jumped upon hearing his voice, whipping your head around to face the “intruder”. You recognized him from school and from outside the window of your apartment; though you hadn’t had any interactions with him yet.
- He complimented your playing and introduced himself; you did the same and the two of you had a short conversation before he needed to excuse himself. He told you that it was nice to meet you and that he’d see you around before running off, leaving you flustered and giddy.
- The next day at school, he spots you in the hall and jogs over to you, greeting you and saying that he should have known you went to this school. The two of you talk for a bit and walk to class together and as you’re saying goodbye, you realize that you’re really starting to have it bad for the boy.
- It isn’t hard for you to develop a crush on the boy, he’s new and exciting and sweet and, well, cute, and the two of you are spending quite a bit of time together. Although, regardless of how much time you spend with him, he still manages to make you flustered.
- Since you live in an apartment building together, he and you have taken to walking home/riding the bus together and on most days, you’ll run into Mr. Miyagi.
- The first few times you meet up with the older man are perfectly normal, you have a quick chat or greeting or he says something to Daniel and then you leave. But one day, Daniels mother calls him away to help her with something and Daniel pats your arm with a smile before he leaves.
- You blush a little in response and when you turn to Mr. Miyagi, he’s looking at you with a knowing look in his eyes. From then on, the older man seems to find great enjoyment in, lightly, embarrassing you.
- Occasionally, he’ll not say anything and you’ll think you’re in the clear but then he’ll say something about if you got any redder, you’d look like a tomato without even looking up from what he’s doing and you’ll internally cringe at yourself.
- What you don’t know is that Mr. Miyagi teases Daniel as well; especially since he knows that you two idiot kids are too oblivious to realize that you like each other or just fess up to your feelings. He finds it sort of amusing, in an exasperating way.
- During their training sessions, he’ll make subtle comments about why the boy seems distracted and later on, when he’s tired of waiting for the two of you to get together, he’ll outright tell him to man up and ask you out. Daniel will insist that you don’t like him and Mr. Miyagi will tell him that he’d be surprised with a shake of his head.
- At some point, he’ll tell Daniel that you like him and Daniel will say “as friends” as though it’s obvious before Miyagi shakes his head and gives a blunt “more”.
- The old man is probably going to be the reason the two of you get together, it’ll probably happen at his place while he’s there because he’ll just tell the two of you to confess already, prompting Daniel to nervously explain what he means.
- You’ll tell him that you like him too and Mr. Miyagi will snort because of how obvious it should have been.
- After that, the boy will ask if you want to go out and you’ll obviously agree. Mr. Miyagi won’t even bother to contain his small smile, as he glances up at either you or Daniel as the other leaves, a “your welcome” look plastered across his face.
