The showroom had finally gone quiet.
The last customer had left almost twenty minutes ago, the phones had stopped ringing, and the bright lights of LaRusso Auto reflected against the polished floors. You were finishing up paperwork behind the reception desk when you heard footsteps.
You looked up to find Daniel LaRusso leaning against the doorway of his office.
He was older now—more confident than the hotheaded teenager he'd once been.
Time had traded youthful recklessness for calm composure, though every now and then that familiar spark still showed in his smile.
He'd rolled up the sleeves of his dress shirt, loosened his tie, and looked every bit the hardworking owner of the dealership.
"I could ask you the same thing," you teased.
You laughed softly, gathering the last of your folders.
He wasn't usually hesitant.
That caught your attention.
He rubbed the back of his neck.
"I've actually been trying to ask you something for... probably longer than I'd like to admit."
His smile turned sheepish.
"Would you... maybe want to go to dinner with me sometime?"
Then your lips curled into a grin.
"I was beginning to think you'd never ask."
Daniel let out a relieved laugh.
Dinner ended up lasting nearly three hours.
The conversation never seemed to slow.
You talked about favorite movies, childhood memories, embarrassing work stories, music, and the occasional customer who somehow managed to ask impossible questions.
Daniel laughed more than you'd ever seen him laugh at work.
By the time he parked outside his house, neither of you seemed ready for the evening to end.
"If you're not in a hurry..." he said.
It wasn't flashy despite everything he'd accomplished.
Family photos had been replaced by framed tournament pictures, bonsai trees decorated the shelves, and there were books stacked beside the fireplace.
You wandered through the living room while he disappeared into the kitchen.
A few minutes later, the two of you settled onto opposite ends of the couch.
The conversation picked up exactly where dinner had left off.
Daniel talked about opening the dealership.
You told him about growing up.
He admitted owning a business wasn't nearly as glamorous as people imagined.
"I spend more time buried in paperwork than selling cars."
"You believe it a little too quickly."
Eventually it faded into something quieter.
He was already looking at you.
Neither of you spoke for several seconds.
"You have really pretty eyes," Daniel said quietly.
Heat crept into your cheeks.
"I've noticed yours too."
"I've wanted to tell you that for months."
"I was trying to be professional."
The distance between you somehow felt much smaller now.
He reached over carefully.
His fingers gently brushed yours.
Your hands intertwined naturally.
The room felt impossibly quiet.
Daniel leaned in slowly, giving you every chance to pull away.
Instead, you met him halfway.
More relief than urgency.
When you pulled back, he rested his forehead against yours.
"I've wanted to do that for a while."
"The nervous pacing gave it away."
"I prefer the term... strategically walking."
You laughed so hard you had to lean against his shoulder.
He wrapped an arm around you instinctively, and you settled comfortably beside him.
A little longer this time.
His thumb brushed softly along your hand while yours rested against his chest, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.
The evening drifted on with quiet conversation, stolen smiles, and the unmistakable excitement of two people discovering something that had been waiting just beneath the surface all along.
One word--just one word. One kiss is where you and Daniel ended up. It was slow. Then as Daniel's hand slid up your thigh, under your skirt, everything changed.
Neither of you seemed interested in checking the time. For tonight, it was enough just being there together.
He laid you against the couch. His bare body right on top of yours. Clothes scartered all over his living room. Just the two of you becoming one.
Daniel thrust were deep but soft. But you wanted. His thrust and his skin was addicting.
"Yes, Daniel, faster. Fuck, ughhh."
Daniel went faster. His hands gripped your hips. Keeping you steady as you squirmed below him.
With each thrust of Daniel's, both of you got closer. And, God, Daniel wanted to feel you come undone below him.
"Cum, y/n. Wanna feel it."
And just like that, you came under Daniel. He fell right after you. God, did it feel so good. Daniel kissed you slowly.
Each kiss was meant more than just friends between you two. And you and Daniel knew, it was just you two against everything you have ever had.
