On parallels, or blood

I’m joining the very exciting 2026 @loumandmicrofic event hosted by @loumandivorce! Loumand means a lot to me, and exploring their dynamic through reading and writing is always so fascinating. This first one is a bit dark tho, take care and mind the warnings + tags

Week one (100 words) Distance/Refusal (June 7 - June 13).

Cw: blood, self-harm and suicidal ideation

Armand is kneeling in a pool of Louis’ blood. Louis’ eyes are but empty sea glass, his voice a tormented thing. It is as though it is happening all over again. The purging, the tearing of wrists. The clawing edge of desperation, a horror too terrible to name. Only this time it is Daniel’s blood surrounding him. It is all there, coating the floors and the walls, soaking into crevices from where it might never be erased. There’s nothing left inside of him. Louis would kill him for what he has done. Armand might do it himself. Louis is gone.
