"The brewery had a history and an eerie silence that surrounded it which was arguably worse. Christian couldn't shake the feeling that when even the worst criminals and the most desperate people with nowhere to go wouldn't set foot inside these gates, there was probably a good reason for it."  -   Downtown by Danielle Klassen Ha haaaa buildings. I actually really love drawing them, especially when they're run down and old, but I get so impatient reaching for the ruler all the time. At any rate, this is a bit of fanart. One of my best friends published a book last year and I've only just gotten time recently to start reading, well, anything. It was immediately on my list. It's steadily dark, spooky and ominous and the city itself is as much a character as any of the people or things walking around through it. I'm not terribly far into the book yet, but already it's had me itching to draw.
