Tyler usually wasn’t that timely, honestly. He had a bad habit of letting his thoughts get away from him. Since the fucking auction though he’d worked to keep them strictly on task. Overthinking wouldn’t help. It had gotten him in this mess it wouldn’t get him back out again.
So for once he showed up exactly on time. The cans of spraypaint and the portable lanterns were stashed in his trunk. He had an N95 mask and some of his painting clothes on, and more than enough pent up emotions.
He honked once and waited for Dani to come outside. She probably hadn’t expected him to run timely. Not that it mattered because Ty wouldn’t actually leave without her. That’s what snitches and horrible friends did and he liked to think he was neither.

Generally, Victor quite enjoyed owning an antique shop. He got to buy many fine things and he rarely had to part with any of them. Especially not now that tourists and wealthy out-of-towners couldn’t come window shopping. There was more than enough money in his account to cover the mortgage, and even keep Raya on staff. He wanted for little, he needed for nothing.
Well, perhaps not entirely true. He wanted for the locals not to come in and leave smudges all over the fine china he’d just spent all morning polishing. He needed to remember that he was a record 10 year streak of not hitting someone in the face for annoying him.
“Please put that back.” He said, voice mild despite his irritation. “It is very fragile.”

THE SCARED LITTLE PIG ▶ DANIELLE MASON ( STRIPPER ● 32 ● IMOGEN POOTS ● TAKEN )
As the baby of the family Danielle always felt safe and protected by her brothers. She was always looking up to them and yearning to get down and dirty like one of the boys. Oh how she loved to grow up in a farm and being around animals all day. Really, she wished she had been born a boy so she could be outside feeding the pigs and the horses and the cows. Instead she was meant to stay inside and help her mother in the kitchen, something that at a very young age she found incredibly sexist. Especially when she was better at riding horses and doing manual labor than most of the boys she knew.
She had ran off with her brother Luke one day and when they returned their house was in flames. Sam was hysterical and she watched from the sidelines as both of her brothers tried to save her parents from burning alive. It was a shock, and an event that traumatized her to the point where nightmares became a regularity.
Her brothers tried their best to help her deal with the trauma the best way they could, even going as far as stealing antidepressants and other medications from the local pharmacy in the hopes that they’d help her cope. Nothing worked. Danielle learned to live with her depression and only found excitement when she was working a job with her brothers. Even that had to come to an end when they were arrested for robbing the Grimmbrook National Bank.
Danielle spent 6 months in jail and was released after Samuel pleaded guilty and made a deal to save her. Back in the world without an education, or any work experience, she did the only thing she could think of to make a living. It’s not like she wants to be a stripper, but what other choice does she have?
CONNECTIONS ▶
Luke Mason: Ever since she can remember, her brothers have been there, looking after her, and while she was eternally grateful, things got a little more complicated between them when she started taking care of herself. Luke is specially disapproving of her working at the strip joint, and since he decided he’s too good for his family, they haven’t talked much.
Samuel Mason: Unlike Luke, Samuel respects her decision to become a stripper and pay her own damn bills. She doesn’t love it that he shows up at the club to check up on her, but she understands that he worries. She has always felt left out for not only being younger and girl, but also because the twins were naturally closer. Now that Luke has turned his back on them, Sam has been relying on her more, which might get her in trouble, but is also very validating.
Joseph Maddox: Danielle used to have a harmless crush on Joseph, he was her older brothers’ cute friend, but after he drove off and left them to the police, she lost all respect and admiration for him. Feeling betrayed for her brothers and herself, whenever she comes across Joseph, she can’t help but become hostile. As far as she’s concerned, Joseph has a long way to go before earning their forgiveness.
Ariela Lopez: For a girl like Danielle, whose lifestyle defies society’s expectations, befriend a bartender is a treat. Not only does it come with alcoholic perks, but also Ariela’s unique ability to listen without getting judgmental. It’s always a good time when the two get together.
Henry Chairman: Danielle hasn’t been able to count on many people other than her brothers in her life, so when Henry got her out of jail, she felt eternally grateful. They ran into each other at the strip club and she assured him that a lap dance was part of a professional relationship for her since it’s part of her work, but she can’t help but feel a little attracted to him.
