New Painting Series: Ships, The Sea & Florals
With less time devoted to my personal paintings these days, I am usually only producing a single painting at a time, every few months or so. The last few weeks I was able to live in my little world of ships, the sea and florals….and man, it was really nice.
I will have these three paintings hanging in the beautiful jewelry store Meeka, located in Camp Hill, Pa. The Grand Opening is this weekend, November 1st & 2nd, 11am-7pm, located at 2205 Market St. Camp Hill Pa.

Apparently it was the year of Beetlejuice for me. I decided to go with another Beetlejuice themed painting for this years Crazy for Cult, which will be happening in NY this December.
If you follow my work at all, you know that I enjoy making my paintings interactive from time to time. In the past I've made magnetic paintings as well as doing things like this. I love the idea of giving the viewer a way to interact with a painting besides, well, just viewing it. Especially since paintings are usually hands off. With this piece I've made the painting reversible, giving the option to display the painting as Life or as the Afterlife.
The opening for the the show is December 13th, 7-10pm. 355A Bowery, New York, NY 10003. The show will run through December 21st!
