Guys, I want Danielle to find out about everything supernatural for whatever reason and then decide to take Derek under her wing. Because she needs a new best friend, you know? And Derek? Well Derek needs anyone, really.

So she takes upon herself to fix Derek's life and one day she just waltzes in his apartment and starts criticizing his decor choices (one terrible life choice at a time, k? baby steps), because no one can function right when they live in a place where they don't feel safe. And honey, no one can feel safe with a crushed velvet sofa.

(all the time all Derek can say is what?)

And then one day she starts noticing Stiles. Well, she already had noticed Stiles, but she starts noticing Stiles&Derek. And when Isaac casually mentions Scott always smells like confused arousal around her, she slowly starts talking him into saying who else smells like that and around whom?

Without even noticing Isaac ends up confessing Stiles and Derek do, around each other. Isaac doesn't even realize why, bless him.

And after much machination (Allison and Lydia help a little, too, when they finally see the light like she did), they finally go out on a date.

Stiles feels a little guilty, because she's Derek's best friend (she is? Derek had asked him) and she was Heather's best friend. So she takes her to a coffee shop and breaks her the news that they are a couple over latte. Danielle laughs, because oh, honey, she only wanted you for your body (so she waited until Stiles was taking a sip from his beverage and now he'll be smelling coffee and sugar for hours. So sue her). Heather would be happy as a clam if she knew you had found someone who wants the whole package.

Years later, when they get married, Danielle is Derek's best man.

He's pretty sure he didn't ask her.
