Lately I have loved watching documentaries for some reason and this is the latest one, which I’ve loved. It’s on netflix and I highly recommend watching it wether you are interested in music, punk, dry humor, the warhol crowd, new yorks history or simply cool visuals. This documentary unites all, featuring danny fields, the guy who knew and found them all, iggy pop, one of the ramones, alice cooper and people danny met throughout his life. It gave me that satisfying feeling of diving into a different time, mentality, culture (the 60s, 70s, 80s) and being overwhelmed with fascination and that nostalgic feeling of missing something you never even experienced. So many smart, interesting, fascinating people, amazing illustrations and good music! And most of all it made icons in pop culture so much more human. 5/5 Similar to two documentaries/movies I loved: CBGB’S (mentioned in Danny Says) and The other one: The long strange trip of Bob weir
