His words made her eyes water, she hated hearing him talk like that because she knew that he deserved the best even when he didn’t believe it. Her soft hands took his & squeezed them in reassurance while she gulped back the lump in her throat, trying her hardest not to cry in front of him.
“I love you too, Danny.. I’ll always love you.” Amelia whispered, one hand letting go to gently cup his cheek, her thumbs slowly stroking over his cheek bone. “I just wish that you could see what an amazing person you are.”
