I just know how much it killed Venom to not be able to hold Eddie for the last time. He grabbed that piece of debris so gently as if it was Eddie and proceeded to ensure his safety. He didn't throw him so far away because he wanted to see him. And Eddie didn't want to walk away because he wanted to see him.

And the fact that like. Eddie's first thoughts waking up from all of that is to clutch his chest and say "I had the craziest dream" TO VENOM is so. Like. He didn't want to believe it at all that it was real. And his realisation when he's told that Venom is never coming back? I'm so fucking crushed?

I don't think Eddie could even cry. Or maybe part of him is still denying that Venom is gone. I just know at some points of the day he's talking to himself like one would as they mourned the great loss of a lover. That man has never been okay since the start of all this and he never will be. That's just how it is.

question, what's the difference between self-shipping and yumeshipping, and if they're the same, why don't yumeshippers just self-ship?

I've been trying to find an answer to this question FOR. EVER. but every time I try and do my research I get different answers >_<. From what I've gathered, and correct me if I'm wrong, yumeshippers are people who believe that they are meant to be with a character. I'm unsure how exactly that would work so yet again, I'm unsure if I'm wrong about that. But if so, how? And why do some yumeshippers get so angry when people yume the same characters as them? And why do some yumeshippers get so offended when people remind them that their f/o isn't real? I'm trying to be as respectful as possible here and I'm coming from a genuine place of curiosity, so if you are a yumeshipper, please help me out!! I just wanna understand y'all! (I feel so out of touch >_<)
