Chance Encounters || Dan & Pia

“It’s still there?”
A pirate ship off of Leuda’s docks had raised a red flag for Pia. Although she may have met a few kind pirates in the past, for the most part they are known to be mean and unrefined. Always wanting to see the best in people, she had come across a few close encounters as she neared the ships at the requests of a few smiling people as a child. Little did she know at the time that they were smiling because of the big catch they were hopefully about to get.
However, something about this particular one seemed familiar. Cautiously, she swam closer to the dock to get a better look. She ran her hand across the bottom of the boat and tried to see if there were any markings that would help her remember where she’s seen it before.
“No way!”
A quick glance up answered her question and brought a huge smile to her face. I can’t believe this!
“Daaaaaaaan~”
She popped up out of the water and used her arms to prop herself up on the docks not too far away from the familiar face. Her bright smile still holding.
