Danton really needed more people on his side, and he thought that, since the Austins were so united, getting one to join him would make them all want to be on his side.
However, they didn't want him ANYWHERE NEAR them. And so, he came up with a revenge for everyone.
First, he managed to put lice on Armbuster's hair.
Then, he took advantage of the fact that he was angry at Eloise, and managed to get electronics banished for a week ("try living without our little videogames, losers" was what he thought.
Next, he got Quinlan in trouble with the principal.
And then, he put vermin eggs in Tomassian's food.
DJ:
DJ pretty much HATES Danton for all the shit he has done.
And he knew how much Danton valued his "virility", and because of that... he dyed his hair pink.
Danton was so angry he broke her arm later.
Mason:
Currently, Aria takes his place whenever the class presidents meet, but... before that, whenever they had a reunion, Danton spoke over Mason and basically ignored her whenever she suggested something.
Gerard:
Danton frequently makes disguised ableist comments towards Gerard because of his leg.
Lotta:
Danton takes every opportunity he gets to "lecture" (humiliate) Lotta for her reckless nature. He states she is too immature and a bad example to everyone at school.
(He mostly just finds her very annoying and distracting.)
Gia:
Gave her the "friendly nickname" of G.I. Joe.
(He just wants to mock how she is a trans girl who dresses on a "masculine way").
(Yeah, Danton is TRASH)
Victoria:
Along with Soo-Yeon, Victoria is the main target of Danton's attempts of sabotage.
Usually, before any big game, she finds weird things on their wheel-chair that takes time for him to fix.
But, they still always manage to arrive in time.
Spinelli:
Frequently mocks how Spinelli dresses so "unmanly". Whenever Spinelli gets angry, Danton goes to complain to Damocles, and Spinelli gets punished.
Mindy:
He once overheard Mindy commenting to Mallory how she thought his heart was rotten.
As a revenge, he gifted them an ogre costume in front of the whole school and said: "This fits you perfectly. You certainly have the body to match it".
Rochelle:
After Mallory disappeared, Rochelle was quick to start rumors that Danton had a finger in it.
Danton invaded zir house in the middle of the night and threatened to make zir disappear if zir didn't keep zir mouth shut.
… now I am curious for some Danton and Soo-Aydin headcanons since they are rivals.
I’m assuming you meant Soo-Yeon? Sure. @imsparky2002 @booksrbetterthanpeople @nerdy-chocomallow @thefcguy
Danton always resented Soo-Yeon for just being…better at basketball than him. Danton strikes me as the type of guy who needs to always be the best, so when he consistently gets outdone on the court by not one, but two people…it drives him nuts.
Danton had to use every ounce of strength in him not to throw a tantrum when he learned that he wasn’t going to be captain of the team. The coach had narrowed it down to two choices, and when Soo-Yeon and Victoria decided to be co-captains, that just pissed him off even more. Now there were two leaders and neither one was him
Danton is constantly trying to make Soo-Yeon look bad in any way he can. Making him mess up on the court (never works, Soo-Yeon is a machine the second he has the ball in his hands), tripping him up and embarrassing him (Soo-Yeon has always been clumsy (bonds with Mari over it) and it never bothers him, he just laughs with everyone), trying to make him look like a jerk (also fails, Soo-Yeon is too nice and polite), and has even tried undermining his confidence by implying he’s not good enough for Candace, due to their differing socioeconomic statuses (that stopped when she stormed right up to him and slapped him across the face, telling him to keep his damn mouth shut about their relationship)
(Note: this was actually the second time Candace has slapped Danton. The first was during a heated dispute about his treatment of Mallory. You’d think he’d learn to stop pissing her off. That girl has a hell of a swing)
I feel like he also just hates that Soo-Yeon is so much taller than him (he’s the tallest student in the school. When I tell you this boy is a giant.) It makes him feel like he’s being talked down to when Soo-Yeon tells him to stop hassling their teammates. He can’t stand it
Soo-Yeon, mostly, just ignores Danton, not feeling like it’s worth the effort to indulge his petty slights toward him. If he starts getting out of line, though, he’s quick to call him out. He doesn’t let him mess with their teammates or his friends
And part 2 has arrived! This time with the Science Kids (I was gonna do them with recess, but I only had come up with ideas for Victoria, Mason, and DJ, so... it will take a while for their turn).
TW: violence, abusive boyfriend, bullying, suicide baiting, sexism, and the usual haunted class unpleasant topics.
Danton wanted access to some of the surveillance camera footage of the school, and he tried asking Simon for help.
He came up with an excuse, alleging it had to do with his role at the Student Council.
Simon didn't believe it, and so Danton started threatening him. Simon tried to run away, but Danton pinned him against one of the school's lockers.
Denise quickly entered the scene to protect him, but Danton pushed them away.
Although they are a pacifist, Denise knew they had to do something about it. And so, they broke his arm.
Danton didn't tell anyone cause his fragile masculinity kept him from telling anyone that someone who dressed in a feminine way could hurt him.
Mireille:
When he learned that Mireille was learning boxing, he joked that "she should still be careful, cause she still wouldn't be able to hurt a guy".
She ended "jokingly" punching him to show her strength.
Ismael:
Once, subtly threatened Ismael to use the girls' bathroom cause he didn't feel comfortable with him there.
Ismael refused and, mysteriously, next week, Damocles declared he would now be forced to use the girls' bathrooms.
(That didn't last, but he did learn how Danton was a prick).
Marc:
Danton commented once about how his makeup made some people feel uncomfortable, and he should try something more manly.
Marc felt hurt, but his friends told him to just ignore Danton's bullshit.
Lacey:
Danton was angry at how Lacey was better at Fencing then him, and he grew envious of how many compliments she received.
And so, he tried the old "let's frame for robbing", but Simon warned her beforehand.
Cosette and Reshma:
So, Mallory was receiving a makeover from Cosette and Reshma (she wanted to try something new cause, for most of her life, her mother chose her clothes for her), and Danton saw her new look.
He was furious at Cosette and Reshma, and started shouting at them at how dare them dress herlself on a way that was so indecent.
Mallory stopped the argument from escalating.
Jean:
When Danton tried to force Mallory to quit the Drama Club, Jean confronted him on why.
Danton replied with: "Well, if you must know, I don't think the other members are proper enough to be her friends".
Jean asked what he meant by that, and well... Danton used Jean as an example and called him "a too 'open' person".
Jean tried to fight him, but he was held back.
Aurore:
Aurore once went to buy flowers at Mallory's family's flower shop, and, when Danton saw them, he thought they were having a frequent affair.
He pushed Aurore into the ground, and Mallory managed to stop him.
And, to avoid his fury in the future, she started making a list of all her clients so he wouldn't feel jealous.
Zoé:
Frequently mocked and belittled her in social events due to her being only "Audrey's bastard daughter".
Danton was 100% sure that Ayesha had created an OC that was a caricature of him, and he tried confronting her about it.
But, no matter how much he tried, he ended up sounding like a jerk, so he tried a different approach... buying bots to leave hate comments on her videos.
One day, however... they stopped. Ayesha doesn't know why, but she is just glad Danton for some reason gave up.
Petra:
Danton tried to convince Petra not to bring her family to a school event.
In his words, "it's just too... unconventional, you know? Some people might not exactly feel comfortable".
Petra felt bad about how Danton spoke about their family, but brought them to the event either way.
(He didn't do anything in revenge cause his mind was already too busy).
Anthony:
During last year's class photos week, Danton tried to intimidate Anthony into dressing himself a little less goth.
When Anthony refused, he commented, "no one gives a damn about how sad you are feeling. No need to dress yourself like Wednesday Addams".
Anthony just told him to fuck off.
Mona:
Mallory needed help filming an advertisement for the flower shop, and Danton offered to help her out (this was before they started dating).
Mallory politely declined his help because she had already asked Mona about it.
That day, Mona's camera had disappeared, and when they found it, it was completely broken.
Brecken:
Danton, who needed at least one ally on the basketball team, tried to use his money to bribe Brecken into being his friend.
When that didn't work, he tried using violence, and, although Danton could look VERY scary when angry, it was nothing compared to a bull, so Brecken fought back. Danton tried getting him suspended, but there wasn't enough proof.
Soo-Yeon:
Since Danton longs to be the team captain of the Basketball team, Soo-Yeon is frequently in his sights.
He tries to make passive-aggressive comments whenever he makes a slight mistake, mocks about his lack of manliness (since he "allows" his girlfriend to do something so "indecent" like cheerleading), or just puts things on his shoes when no one is watching.
Jesse:
Danton mocks Jesse because, in his eyes, he is too sensitive for a boy. So, he calls him a "sissy" and a "crybaby".
Dot:
Danton, in the Student Council, likes to give orders to Dot as if she was his secretary (like, grabbing him a coffee and so on).
At first she just tried ignoring him cause she thought he wasn't worth it, but, she eventually got tired of it and "accidentally" spilled hot coffee in his face.
He hasn't been that annoying since.
Eloise:
Danton once mocked Claire by asking Eloise how she managed to be brave enough to stay so close to a health hazard like Claire.
Eloise said it was better than being around someone so arrogant like Danton.
Next week, electronics will be forbidden at school.
(It wasn't just cause of Eloise, though; it involved a situation with a certain Austin, but that's for another day).
Anais:
Danton likes to mock Anais for their height, and likes to joke that she will never find a boyfriend cause of that.
(Jokes on him, cause it isn't remotely interested in finding a significant other, but it doesn't change the fact that she finds him annoying).
Aggie:
Danton once "joked" about how Aggie should change their wardrobe because their prothesis made her way too unfeminine already.
She simply flipped him off and skated off.
Evie and Parker:
While Mallory was lending them a hand, Danton overheard how they were advising her that he was toxic and that Mallory should break the relationship before she was too absorbed by it.
He later approached Evie and threatened that he would get her expelled from the school's choir. Parker, who was nearby and hadn't been seen by him, gave him a black eye as a reminder to not threaten others.
Candace, Staci, Margo, and Cecile:
As stated before, Danton wanted to control what activities Mallory could partake in and which ones she couldn't.
And so, when she refused to leave the cheerleaders, Danton tried dragging her out by force.
Candace and the others stood up for her, and he yelled and said "Only whores dress themselves like this to drag attention to themselves".
Candace slapped him, and Cecile kicked him in the middle of his legs, but Mallory interfered before Danton could hurt any of them.
Missy:
Missy, after seeing bruises on Mallory's arms, confronted Danton about the situation.
Danton said she should just keep her mouth shut if she knew what was good for her, and pushed her into the ground and turned around. She bit his hand as a response.
Roxie:
Roxie confronted him about Mallory's weird behavior on the past few weeks, and he said that they shouldn't meddle in other people's relationships.
Then, he said that, if they understood anything about relationships, they wouldn't have gotten their ass dumped.
They knocked him out with a punch.
Eri:
Eri was the last one who tried to warn him about leaving Mallory alone (it was a few days before her disappearance. She didn't know it would happen, but she felt like something was wrong.)
He tried to threaten her (since she was small and fragile in his eyes), and then her eyes flashed very brightly, and a row of lockers nearly fell on him. He’s been as terrified of her as the other Haunted villains ever since.
Haunted and Akuma Class's Worst Experiences with Danton
I actually managed to come up with some ideas for Danton (after watching a bunch of gameplay of yandere visual novels).
The way this boy's behavior would be romanticized by some people in the dark romance community of BookTok...
Also, small reminder: since Aria started blackmailing Danton, the new students of the year (like Alya, Miguel, and Zoe) don't have THAT bad experiences with Danton.
TW: violence, abusive boyfriend, bullying, suicide baiting, sexism, and the usual haunted class unpleasant topics.
Marinette had written a love letter confessing her feelings to him (no stalkerish content or anything that canon Marinette would add to justify his reaction).
When she asked him about how he felt later, he humiliated her in front of the whole school, stating he felt offended that someone like her ever thought she could be at his level.
That's what led to Marinette's trauma when it comes to confessing (again, nothing canon levels cause... nothing justifies that. Just shyness and nervousness around Adrien at the start).
Adrien:
Danton and Adrien met many times when they were little because of how their families were close.
Danton used to subtly mock Adrien for not being into enough "boy's stuff" and that he was too delicate.
And then, when they started fencing, Danton made comments about Adrien's body and that he couldn't see him being an athlete, and he should just give up and continue looking pretty for his father's campaign.
(Yes, Danton has been this toxic person to Adrien ever since they were toddlers.)
Nino:
It was time for one of those group works with all the classes, and Nino was assigned to work with Mallory.
Danton, at first, subtly tried to convince him to talk to Miss Gauche to change the pairs.
Nino, who really didn't want to talk to Gauche (it was a math project, so she was responsible), denied.
Then, Danton tried to change his mind, this time more aggressively, and Nino told him to leave him alone.
Coincidentally, next week, the Principal received an anonymous tip about Nino having cigarettes at his locker.
And when he opened Nino's locker, the cigarettes were there. Nino almost got expelled, but fortunately, Mallory stood up for him and explained that they couldn't be there cause she and Nino hanged out the whole week and they weren't there before.
(Mallory didn't even suspect Danton was behind it. She thought it was one of Aria's schemes, but Nino knew).
Chloé:
During one of the Diamond's Dance, while Chloé was complaining to Adrien that her mother didn't give her attention, Danton just said that if she learned her place and just sat still and looked pretty, maybe people would like her more.
Chloé tried to punch him (they were very young), and Danton played the victim card to his father, and so, Chloé was punished by André.
Juleka:
Mallory had offered her hair because Juleka wanted to try some new hairstyles. (Mallory knew Juleka was into hairstyling and liked to help by "lending" her hair).
After they were done with it, Mallory left happy with her new hairstyle, and Juleka was cleaning the hair on the floor, when she caught Danton trying to snatch some of the locks of hair on the floor.
At first, he pretended he was just there to help her out, but, since Juleka didn't seem convinced, he just said: "Wouldn't it be a shame if someone found something in your locker that could land you in trouble?"
Juleka, who still hadn't gone through her character arc, stood in silence.
Danton still changed the class pictures from a day to a week, where Juleka wouldn't be attending as a precaution, though.
Rose:
While Rose was working on an arts and crafts project one day, she accidentally bumped into Danton, and some Glitter fell on him.
He was furious, but he was in public (and if Aria is careful with her reputation, Danton is twice as much), so he just lectured her that she should "act her age" and stop playing with glitter and plushies.
Alix:
When Mallory and Danton were already dating, Danton was being too "touchy" and "grabby" with her on a date at The Louvre, and Alix pushed him away.
Later, he heard Alix advising Mallory to break up with him cause he was toxic.
So, he put one of his expensive watches on Alix's locker and tried to accuse her of theft.
Fortunately for her, Simon warned her beforehand, and she managed to put the watch back on his locker.
(As to why Simon is careful around Danton... I will leave that for next time.)
Kim:
Whenever the basketball team loses a game, Danton is quick to blame Kim.
He shouts things like: "Kim, can't you use your brain FOR ONCE?" "Kim, we know your head is empty, but can't you try to do something for the game?"
Victoria is quick to shut him up, and then he is like: "I am sorry, it's just that this game is very important to me."
Max:
Danton likes to use Max as an arm support due to his height.
(And it's not on a friendly tone either, more like as a way to mock his height, because Danton feels threatened by his intelligence).
Ivan:
Ivan (during his time in Lovelle's cult) went after Danton so he could learn one thing or two about being a gentleman.
Danton then commented about his body, his hair, and the way he dressed.
It was a passive-aggressive tone, and he tried to sound it as if he was looking out for Ivan, but, in reality, he was just mocking him.
Nathaniel:
Since Danton is Emani's best friend (cause only a jerk would get along with another jerk), he frequently tries to guilt-trip Nathaniel into getting back together with Emani, by saying how much he is suffering.
(Nathaniel isn't buying it, though. He wishes the two would just fall into the sun).
Lila:
Once, Lila was telling one of her stories (and Danton was in a bad mood because of Aria's control), Danton just called her a blabbermouth.
When Lila tried to act offended, he just said he was a gold digger in training and that his father taught him to keep "harlots" like her away.
Mallory:
... where do I even start?
Danton, at first, treated Mallory extremely well. She was the most popular girl at school, and he loved her.
When they finally started to date, he started to reveal his true self.
He wanted to control what clothes she wore, what school activities she could be a part of, he demanded kisses and hugs even when she didn't feel comfortable with...
And, if she showed any sign of breakup, he would get aggressive, he would call her ungrateful, and would threaten her and her friends.
Then, he would give her flowers and apologize.
Sora:
Since Sora was Mallory's boyfriend for a long time, he frequently bullied him.
He would mock the way he dressed, how weak his body was, how unmanly were his hobbies, how his sadness was a burden, and how his friends would be better off if he just killed himself.
Owen:
Danton tried to threaten Owen into telling him more about Sora's personal life. Owen, as a loyal friend, kept his mouth shut.
Then, next week, Danton convinced Damocles to create a rule on how much food each student was allowed to take from the cafeteria.
This ended up being a big problem for Owen, who didn't eat anything at home.
When he passed out on Wednesday, Missy and Roxie joined forces to show the school board how problematic the new school rule was. The teachers quickly took their side, and so did most of the student body council, and so, Damocles abolished the room that same Wednesday.
Hyuk:
Danton takes advantage of how Hyuk is the punching bag of the Haunted Class and usually bullies him whenever he is having a bad day.
Rob:
One day, Rob pranked him, and Danton, who was already in a bad day and far enough from everyone's eyes, spanked him.
Aria:
When Aria first confessed her feelings to him, Danton rejected her. She continued confessing to him year after year until he commented that he would never date a girl who refused to accept she should be below him in the relationship.
That's why now she treats him like a dog with her blackmail.
Lovelle:
Lovelle, after one attempt at matchmaking him and Aria, was threatened that, if she did that one more time, she would be waking up with the fishes the very next day.
Azure:
These two siblings... don't get along very well, but they try to keep civil to not anger their father.
But, when they argue... yes. It can get very heated.
Next time, it's the Science Kids and the Recess Class. Bye!
Dangore is the young goat/human hybrid monster king of the Underground.
Most of his citizens think he is an honorable and responsible young man, who is willing to do anything for his people...
However, those who have worked close enough to him know how much of a narcissistic bitch he is.
(Poor Lansea and Hyukys).
He is very powerful and, whenever he doesn't get what he wants, just hopes you are the closest person nearby, cause he will put you on fire just to relieve his stress.
It isn't a mystery why Malflower ran away from him and hid in the ruins.
Dangore HATES humans and was very excited at the idea of killing Friskel.
After the final battle, and his sister's scheme failing, the monster saw his true face... and because of that, they knew he had to be punished in some way.
So... he is studying at MARVEL Academy, but he has to use bracelets that limit his powers.
Danton's childhood was not an easy one. He grew up seeing his father marry and remarry time and time again, and physically and verbally abuse all his wives (to the point of murder)
He was terrified of one day following his fate as a child, so he was thankful when the rebel movement started.
However, after he started dating the recently awakened Sleeping Beauty (Mallory), people started noticing he had inherited his father's anger, possessiveness, and jealousy, despite looking like a gentlemanly Prince Charming on the outside.
Currently, Mallory has broken up with him, but she is afraid she might have the same fate as the wives of Blue Beard.
Probably the only world where Aria doesn't want to be with him.
