Dantria IV - The Pandora Principle

I'm from the Eastern Townships, a part of the Appalachian corridor in southern Québec which is a really woody, yet also agricultural region, with lots of forests, woods, lakes and mountains. To me, it feels a lot like the planet of Dantria IV upon which Spock raised Saavik for a year after her rescue. This post is basically just pictures of landscapes of my regions that I've found on this page (go check it out)

I can just imagine Saavik running around these woods, discovering bugs and other small alien species, watching the light of a sun that is no longer scalding dance between the leaves as the wind blows softly, feeling free of the burden of survival, to return home in the late afternoon and eat a bowl of Plomeek soup, listening to Spock as he finishes on her lessons, the distant sound of a space loon on the nearby lake in the background.
