Danvid Week ,Day 4: Fairytale/Myth.
For today, I chose the Greek myth "The Abduction of Persephone," specifically the part where Hades tricks Persephone by feeding her pomegranate seeds from the underworld so that she (or in this case, he) will stay there forever with him (or well, for 6 months a year).

Originally, I was planning to draw the part where Hades kidnaps Persephone. In fact, I already had the drawing ready, which was based on this statue:
But, after seeing the finished drawing, I realized it could look like an attempted sexual assault, and I didn't want one of my drawings to look like an attempted rape, so I erased it and drew this instead (that's why the current drawing looks rushed, because it was).
While I was drawing this, I came up with an AU based on Greek mythology, haha.
Like, here Mr. Campbell is Zeus, Miss Priss is Hera, Gwen is Hestia, CJ is Heracles, Nikki is Artemis, etc., etc.
Max is David's son and plays the role of Demeter (which is funny, because in this AU David is Persephone, so the parental roles are reversed, haha).
