jhogo staring longingly at his khaleesi from afar, dreaming of her, yearning for her love, waiting for the slightest touch between them, wanting nothing more than to protect and take care of her, having to live with the excruciating truth that he can never be with her. jhogo witnessing every step of dany’s journey: her fear, how her pain almost killed her, and then how her immense strength, courage and adaptability allowed her to thrive. falling in love with her slowly, deeply, but feeling conflicted and tormented because she’s his khal’s wife, because there’s nothing he can do about it. so he makes a silent vow, to her and to himself, to always be at her side in the only way he can: as her fierce protector, as her loyal friend. and so he does
