Holding on to the unknown

In life there's no shortcuts, u-turns, or reverse. We can only brake, take a look at the rear mirror, then continue to move forward. This is life.

She gathered all her belongings into her arms, gave an unseemly glance over her shoulder as she proudly glide out of the classroom.

Out.

Freedom.

She graduated.

People

Some are kind.

Some are loving.

Some are content.

Many are lost.

Many are manipulative.

Many are cruel.

We’re just like the flower in the woods, waiting to be appreciated.

Little Queen

She draws the curtain open. Last night's heavy storm passed. Golden rays sip though the window. Mother Earth reminds her. The time has come for her to shine.
