Daphne Deighton from ‘American Royals’ is such an interesting character. The girl absolutely radiates Slytherin energy. She’s a manipulative and ruthless bitch who wears heels and fake smiles like armour. Everything down to the colour of her lipstick is completely calculated.

Her POV’s are the most fascinating thing. I’m not sure whether I should be disgusted or impressed by her actions. And what’s most interesting is that we as readers get to see her villainy upfront, we are literally inside her head. We know the truth of who she really is which makes it all the more amazing to see how the other characters perceive her. Because the most horrifying thing is that everyone loves her. She’s America’s Sweetheart. The Perfect girl.
