At the time, much to many people’s dismay, a far cry from the lovable tramp.  Seems that is the only role, the public would really except him in.

Did you actually watch the speedpaints? Nothing “popped up” I’ve clipped the bit with the hair and face to show that the face and hair were drawn(though Tuli did a redline that Beau traced over) not copy pasted.

Tracing 3D models and using brushes is industry standard, he shouldn’t be shamed for using them. You’ve been begging him to use these tools for years but when he does it’s “not good enough”. You’re only proving my point that you’re a bully and have no interest in people actually improving because when they do you still attack them and move the goal post.

Also as seen in the speedpaint the design was a redesign of a design that Tuli had before Marci and even Prin’s rosette. Most of the elements were kept from that design besides hajr and body type. It’s not a copy.

The video is quite low quality, so it looked like things popped up. And again, no one said that he couldn't improve, what are you smoking?

Tracing 3D assets is STILL tracing regardless. I suggested that he should begin tracing the pose, and THEN try drawing it free hand to improve his skills overall. If possible, he could draw live to squash any 'he's tracing my art or tracing again' allegations, but I guess that flew over your head along with my previous advice.

It's not that hard to draw without tracing when you take your time. He keeps saying that he doesn't want to be shamed (which no one did) for tracing 3D assets, so how about NOT tracing for once. We're not here to beg a serial tracer to be a decent person. Is he going to stop tracing or not? If he does, then good for him. If not, then whatever. It's his art career, and people are allowed to critique his art that's posted publicly to see, especially if he copies their character or traces their art.

What people did shame Beau for, was the fact that he previous traced someone else's commissions, characters, adopts, and personal art. That's a dick move regardless of it being Miorjah (and the others he traced from) and you know it.

The previous Anon said it was a copy, not me. Once again, you are putting words in people's mouths. I also could care less about the character looking like Marci or being made before, because the Mord conversation has been cut.

If you or no one else has nothing to add or nothing better to say than a bunch of excuses for Beau, then I suggest you stop sending in asks, because I'm just going to delete them because you're going in circles at this point.

Beau improves and tries to do better but you still attack him? What is the point of this blog then? It sounds like you don’t actually want anyone to improve, you just want to bully them. You want bad people to stay bad and refuse to acknowledge any growth they’ve made.

First, Beau is still tracing, even if it's a 3D asset. You don't get brownie points for copying the pose from a preset asset.

Second, no one said he that can't or don't want him to improve. Quit making false assumptions and putting words in people's mouth.

Third, a real improvement for someone who is known widely for serial tracing should be drawing freehand AFTER you get the pose you want using the 3D reference.

Forth, if Beau truly wants to squash any tracing allegations, he needs draw on a live stream from scratch with his layers showing and a seperate canvas open with his references on the side.

Fifth, you balling your eyes out in my inbox does Beau no justice. If anything, it makes him look like an even bigger fool and people will start to suspect that it's actually Beau behind these asks and not one of his friends. Try being smart about your responses for once.

I was getting real close to cutting the Beau tracing topic, but now his speedpaints have been brought into the mix.

I've noticed that the hair in the last one (the one with the cow-looking unicorn fawn) the hair and ears pop up magically and there is no sketching process, almost as if those aspects where copied and pasted onto the canvas.

What do y'all think about this?

I think the whole copycat oc thing is stupid but it is rather funny that beau made a copy of a copy

This character actually belongs to Tuli/fawnafleur, and it looks more like a cow unicorn hybrid (in my opinion), but the character still has pretty much the same markings and floral tattoo on the lower stomach. If it wasn't for Beau's art style, it would be another copy of the Marci character.

What do you guys think? Would love to hear yalls input on this one.

Lots of artists nowadays use models as references. The problem with Miorjah is they trace it one-for-one instead of just using the pose like most artists do.

It seems you are stalking Beau closely as i went to check and they just posted their speed paint. You guys critique for tracing and now making fun of them for showing proof of then using a model to learn and pose their art is very hypocritical don't you think?

Seems two-faced to me. I guess you are not an artist yourself. As you don't seem to understand the difference between using a model one-for-one compared to going over a pose and modifying it.

Beau is a serial tracer who also traces from commissions and personal pieces people have drawn for each other. In comparison to another artist, that is an issue that much more of a problem than using a 3D model that you made a modified yourself. You don’t have to be an artist to understand that tracing other people’s art is shitty, what are you on?

Using a 3D model is something he should have been doing long before saving hundreds of Miorjah’s art and commissions to trace his characters. There was even a recent incident where he traced one of Miorjah’s characters, tried to commission art of the character, and proceeded to be a total jerk to the person that they were commissioning. Or did you miss that?

We’re criticizing both Miorjah AND Beau for taking credit from premade assets and then pretending they’re oh so original and no one else thought of the pose or theme. That’s the point of this, not the fact that they are using assets to assist their art. That is being a hypocrite.
