He had woken up in the library. Books lined the walls and the slow but steady bustle of students coming in for recess had begun. It all looked similar, even felt it, but, everything had changed. To any onlooker it would appear he fell asleep while studying. His books lay across the table and yet SJ wasn’t familiar with any of them. A library card was set among the notes that had been scrawled ever-so neatly across his papers. “Marcel Ross,” he said, letting the name roll of his tongue as he inspected it closer. If it hadn’t been for the picture, perhaps SJ would have noted the year, but that shock would come at a later time.
Turning around to catch himself in the reflection of the glass did not meet the freaky friday fantasy that he’d imagined. “One handsome devil, aren’t you?” he laughed, trying to make light of the situation at hand, and failing miserably. Sebastian didn’t make a habit of letting things worry him, and yet, he couldn’t help but feel disconcerted about waking up in someone else’s life.
He tried to shake the feeling, stretching around to get a good look at himself in the window. He hummed softly, noting that everything looked exactly the same as usual. Perhaps he was twin swapping, like a modern day sci-fi parent trap or something. No matter the case, he would try to figure out as much as he can. Best not screw up anything for this bloke while he waited to be brought back to his own reality, right? Feeling the presence of someone else, he turned around quickly, smiling gently at the person in front of him.
