I don’t know what it is, but I could do a charcoal mask every day and not even blink! Not every charcoal mask is created equal though. Some are barely charcoal colored, some are really dense with I presume charcoal resin or powder, some are smooth and luxuriously creamy. The Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask from my friends at The Body Shop is one of their 6 new 100% vegan/natural masks that I recently blogged about. It’s loaded with bamboo charcoal from the Himalayan Foothills, flaky green tea leaves from Japan, and organic Community Trade Tea Tree Oil from Kenya. I LOVE THE TEXTURE. The experience is kind of intense. It feels like some sort of luxe spa mud mask. Inspired by Ayurvedic traditions, the Body Shop's charcoal formula tingles a bit — though it's not extreme and doesn't irritate my skin. In fact, with all that good stuff in there, and none of it animal-derived, it’s likely as good for your skin as it is for your soul. Plus, it’s formulated without parabens, paraffin, silicone or mineral oil! 🙏🏼 ✅@thebodyshop 100% Vegan Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Check the Skincarma blog for smart product reviews and ingredient knowledge.
