MAYUMIKO REAL????????
what happened in gsnk my mayumiko posts are getting attention again
how is mikayuu the most canon a noncanon ship has ever been help me understand
very cool and fun of the entire sk8 fandom to be skeptical even after ep 8 bc we’ve all collectively suffered from queerbait for too long lmao
everyone knows xingqiu owns these kinds of books but only chongyun knows what theyre about
based off that one voice line:
holy trifecta
i think its actually. really interesting how miya also notices reki’s continued absence, when reki and miya are total foils to each other
miya’s character kicked off with his inner turmoil because being at the top was lonely. his friends had completely ditched him, straight up told him that they were too different to be friends. the whole “slime” thing. but that all changed when reki told miya that his new friends would never leave him, at a time when he needed to hear it most
and now we see reki on the opposite end; reki feels left behind because it seems everyone around him is superior to him, has surpassed him entirely. but what he doesnt realize and we do, is that the distance is self-inflicted—no one sees him that way, his friends love him and aren’t going to leave him anytime soon. they genuinely care about him, and his skating skills never cross their mind
miya noticing reki’s unusual behavior is, i think, directly tied to his own arc, and i really REALLY hope hes the one who shows reki that his skills don’t matter; theyre always going to be friends, no matter what
