Fic: If We Die, We Lived With Passion (Final Fantasy VI)
Title:If We Die, We Lived With Passion Fandoms: Final Fantasy VI Characters: Celes Chere, Setzer Gabbiani, Darill Pairing: Celes Chere & Setzer Gabbiani Rating: Teen AO3 Tags: Grief/Mourning, Canonical Character Death, World of Ruin (Final Fantasy VI), Hurt/Comfort, could be shippy if you squint, for either Setzer/Celes or Setzer/Darill Summary: What must it be like to carry that weight every day, the way Setzer had? To build a loved one’s airship into a shrine, a tomb, yet resurrect it to search the ruined world in hopes of finding friends? Notes: HAPPY SECRET SANTA RUNIC!!! @runicmagitek I know what you like and you know I can't resist putting my boy Setzer through the wringer ;) Enjoy!
“When Darill died,” he said, “it fell to me to see to her final arrangements. The idea of burying her in the ground, to cover her soul with rocks and dirt, never sat right with me. She deserves to be among the stars.” She knew what this was, now. When Setzer called the Falcon a tomb, he wasn’t kidding. He’d lovingly restored his friend’s crashed airship and laid her to rest among the ruins. He never expected to return. To bring the Returners to this place — to bring her, a former General — spoke of a courage Celes hadn’t known Setzer possessed. Celes glanced away. In another life, this might have been Darill’s room. She imagined a proud, tall woman lounging at that desk, feet kicked up, a map of the world spread before her. Setzer spoke of her with such admiration, no wonder walking the halls of the Falcon felt akin to sharing space with a ghost. The words were heavy on her tongue. “What do you need from me?” she asked.

Fate - COMMISSION
Hello hello! I'm still alive. Idk how but anyway This was my last job that I did for Master Duncan [@master-duncan]
This piece is about his most recent fanfic about Final Fantasy VI during the events of World of Ruin inside of Darill's Tomb. It was hard to work on this background, specially because I wanted to be the most loyal as I could with the enviroment of the game, so I'm confident that I had captured this essence of a ruined place, abandoned by the time and past.
For the fanfic enjoyers, "Entombed" is avaliable for reading here! (WARNING: This work could have adult content) Thanks for Master Duncan for the opportunity! <3 @master-duncan - I'm open for commissions at moment, but for a few quantities only. More information soon. Enjoy it!

I shared this already when announcing the completion of my latest fic Entombed, but yall might have missed it because I slapped the Mature label on it. Please enjoy this fantastic art free of context!
The Night Ain’t Getting Younger (Darill/Maria/Setzer - Final Fantasy VI)
(( for the one and only @theoreticalconstruct, a fellow fan of this A+ ship! featuring the fluff prompt # 19 - “Take my hand. Trust me.” Truly appreciate all the love you pour into so many rarepairs and OT3s. Thank you for all you do! I hope you enjoy this bit of fluff! ))
The curtains closed for the evening. Set pieces rolled across wooden panels. Final notes from the orchestra floated backstage, where dozens upon dozens of individuals wrapped up yet another rehearsal.
Maria navigated past stagehands and chorus members. Every other person smiled and sang her praise—sometimes literally. Perhaps on opening night, the audience would deliver similar approval with a standing ovation. One could only hope.
But even the opera house’s prized soprano needed reprieve from the spotlight, thus she evaded her cast members and fled down winding hallways to her private room.
The door locked behind her. Murmurs of backstage shenanigans echoed in her ears. Leaning into the door, Maria heaved out a breath she held for too long.
A few more nights, she reminded herself. Then you can relax. For a spell, anyways.
She pushed off and plopped down at her vanity mirror. New-fangled electric bulbs illuminated the frame, casting stark highlights of her reflection. Maria wiped off makeup, removed excessive jewelry, and loosened her corset.
While plucking out the hundreds of pins securing her hair, she froze. The mirror revealed another figure in the room—one she recognized.
