@daringtosing pokes fox's nose

That nose is going to give a little wiggle at first. Then its owner begins to stir from his nap on the cozy white sands of the beach.

"Slip, c'mon... go for a swim or somethin', sheesh..." he grumbles before blinking the sleep from his emerald eyes.

Then, Fox sits up and gets a better view of who poked his nose...

"Oh... hey there. Can I help you, miss....?" His question trails off as he looks over the strange young lady in front of him.

⚙----* Gentle movement could be seen in the deep blue as a young diver swam softly, curious fingers looking underneath various shells and clams for hidden treasures.

The individual gasps as he nears a magnificent golden castle, wait...was he even in his own world anymore??

He began to panic, swimming quickly to not be seen as he found a small crevice in order to calm his troubled mind and shaky body as the front screen of his helmet displays a sad emote. He remains there, completely quiet.

"It is, but to me that's part of the thrill. Just seeing the lighting alone takes my breath away, but in a very good way, mind ya. I'd be one of those blokes that chase storms 'or a livin' if only my sister would allow it."

He thought he noticed that she didn't mention the fact of why this was, besides fish getting beached of course; which definitely was an issue of course. Perhaps merpeople operated differently than those that walked up on the surface like himself.

"I'll admit it is rather comfortin', being able to hear it outside my window at night. Eh, depends on the human really, people are all different--either fortunately or unfortunately. We use umbrellas mainly," he takes a pause to show her the yellow one he's holding. "I'm Melvin, by the way."

Tighnari was curious on where he was as this didn't look like his Homeland of Sumeru as this looked to be a beach of sorts, he noticed to wander around, studying the many various shells littering the shore line as the gentle sounds of waves filled the air which caused his long ears to twitch and wiggle.

He wondered what kinds of life inhabited here, only one way to find out.
