GBYFD // Episode 5
May they never ever ever sleep alone again
I love them and their complex relationship and I just need them to figure their shit out and get back together like they both obviously want.
Michael's message for sey 🥺❤️
The role of "Dr. Say" is different from Michael's own personality in almost every way.
Say is calm, composed, and reserved, using reason to guide his emotions.
Meanwhile, Michael is funny, cheerful, talkative, and expresses his feelings clearly.
I honestly admit that when I first received this role,
I was filled with anxiety.
I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to portray Say's character well enough.
I was afraid that I wouldn't be worthy of the role of a forensic doctor who has to bear the weight of truth, death, and heavy emotions.
But deep down, I always believed that
there's nothing a person can't do if they truly set their mind to it.
From that day on, I chose not to run away from my fears,
but to confront them.
I worked hard, researched information from many sources, consulted with writers, listened to real-life experiences from doctors, and tried to understand the world of forensic medicine—their way of thinking, their perspective on life, and how they cope with loss.
I gradually adjusted my personality,
my way of speaking, my language, my tone of voice,
even the rhythm of my breathing,
so that every action of "Say" would be as authentic as possible.
It wasn't just acting, but "becoming" the character.
This role taught Michael to know himself better,
and taught him that people can overcome their limitations
if they give themselves the opportunity to try with all their heart.
Finally,
Michael sincerely hopes
that everyone will open their hearts and connect with this character,
and he hopes that everyone will like "Michael" in the role of "Dr. Say." 🤍
I was so stressed when Sey was in the cold storage, the keys!!! Don’t leave the keys behind! Wait do we know what day of the week he was born? Darin will be so upset if anything happens to him!! But once King took over I was like oh well sacrifices have to be made to find the killer 🤷
Worst excuse ever! At least we know they are bad at hiding anything. 😅
The way Darin opens his eyes, sees Sey there, and just smiles? I’m a goner. This is the ‘I’ll wait by your hospital bed forever’ trope at its finest. I adore these boys.
All the cops are snuggling with their not-partners and coming closer for comfort and love that isn't quite ready to be said or faced yet.
Taking care of his once and future boyfriend.
