Happy birthday to this cinnamon roll. I can’t imagine what my life would be like if Darius and his story hadn’t popped into my head one day in March 2015. I’m so grateful to everyone who’s embraced him and his journey and shared that love with others. Thanks to all the readers, and booksellers, and librarians, and bloggers, and bookstagrammers, and booktubers, and everyone who’s shown Darius (and me) some love.
