As a former Dany stan, I would like to say why I don't stan her anymore. She thinks that once she acquires the Iron Throne she will restore the Westeros to its "former glory" i.e ruled by the Targaryens, the same Targaryens who themselves were foreign invaders and conquered the westeros with the help of dragons and burning people alive. The last Targaryen ruler enjoyed doing that with wildfire. Dany has also adopted the Dothrakis way that only a powerful can lead the people and powerful means having a unbeatable army and dragons (ruling doesn't matter). She wants everyone to accept her as their queen the moment they meet her, she can't tolerate anyone opposing her or questioning her authority. She uses violence too often and as a primary tactic rather than a last resort, she is not good at ruling and we have seen this in Essos. She also believes that once she sit on the Iron Throne she will be a just ruler but in the process of acquiring the throne she has become a power hungry tyrant who thinks everyone is beneath her coz she is special, magical and some kind of god who can't be burnt and hatched three dragons. She calls Robert an usurper (who defeated Rhaegar in a fair fight after Rhaegar "kidnapped" Lyanna and mad king burnt Starks alive) when her own forefathers were the actual invaders. A Targaryen sitting on iron thrones in the end is a joke to the whole series, her journey is that of Aegon the conqueror who invaded foreign land with dragons and conquered it and he wasn't a hero neither Dany is and yeah bend the knee or die isn't a choice.
