It seemd almost as if the Goddess presence made it worse, and without moving an inch from his meditating position, Asmita turned face in Sasha’s direction. “Foolish Goddess.” He said. “Don’t play with things that might hurt you, in the end…” And as he said that, the Virgo Saint stood up, walking slowly on her direction as his cloth started to become black.

Death often had to reap souls already damaged beyond help. They were the ones who followed the path to oblivion. There was no purgatory, hell, nor heaven for them. No afterlife. Just nothing. Reaping those souls were physical acts.

Death approached the man, offering no greeting. He casually reached into the man, drawing his soul out from his body, leaving him coughing and sputtering blood. Around Death's feet, the grass and flora had all withered and died.
