Reasons I think Tommy Merlyn could be the Absolute Green Arrow:
A lot of people I’ve seen have compared this series to the first season of Arrow with a hooded vigilante going after and killing corrupt elites. Who was a beloved character of season one of Arrow? Tommy Merlyn.
Our serial killer green arrow is using swords and a bow—like a certain Tommy Merlyn of Earth 2.
During his brief appearance in mainstream dc comics, Tommy was an expert archer and marksman.
The serial killer GA is also wearing an Ollie inspired mask. That clearly points towards someone who knew and loved Oliver, like say his best friend?
We know the Merlyns exist because Malcolm Merlyn is the one who hired Black Canary. Wouldn’t it be great if his son was the one doing the killing?
