Another au that i mixed with a headcannon of mine.

Cake hounds and creamwolves and other dog or canine dessert creatures adore Dark Choco.

In is loading screen he is surrounded by various cake creatues with glowing eyes as red as the Strawberry Jam Sword.

I like to imagine that whenever he wanted some peace and quiet, Choco would go to the Ovens and help out with the cake pups. They often reminded him of Creamwolves and that would help lighten his heart.

Because of this , a fair amount of Cake pups and hounds would follow him around and constantly ask to play with him.

Choco didn't mind for the most part.

When he discarded the Strawberry Jam Sword and became a wanderer he was surprised to wake up one day and find the pack of cake pups and wolves outside his tent. Apparently they had left behind the CoD ,tracked him down and found him in the wilderness.

Choco now travels with a pack of loyal hounds wherever he goes.

Choco Cone Cookie AU

So I came up with a Cookie Run AU a few days ago, and... I’m gonna talk about it here, but the idea is- it’s not stupid, I think it’s very interesting (because I’m an AU nerd), but it might come across as dumb to others. I call it the Choco Cone AU.

So basically, the premise of this AU was a part of my “Dark Chocoverse” brainrot where I imagined Dark Choco Cookie in different roles for characters. One of these roles was him being in Strawberry Crepe Cookie’s place, where he’s associated with Wafflebots and is the initially unnamed Cookie the crew meets in the Vanilla Kingdom. And then I started building more onto this idea because I was hyperfixating on the theme of Strawberry Crepe Cookie’s character, which a cyborg-like character who does all these analysis things and techy stuff and yeah.

For the most part, the AU’s been kinda comical. I’ve been talking about it with friend, who I share just about all of my brainrot with, and there’s been more comical scenes than angsty ones, which is a new record for me I think. Like, the scene we just talked about today was a Licorice Oozling getting loose in the Black Citadel thanks to Dark Choco Cookie, and how he’s trying to track it down and catch it before the others find out.

I’m also trying to figure out the backstory/lore for this AU. Like how Dark Choco Cookie ended up in the Vanilla Kingdom and how he ended up fused with these Wafflebot parts, becoming a cyborg and all. The current thing I’m going with is that he suffered some kind of tragic accident and needed life-saving surgery, as he lost limbs. And, at least in this AU, not even Pure Vanilla Cookie’s miracle magic can reattach lost limbs. Maybe the accident in question, if I keep this plotline, could be related to the Dark Flour War with everything going on.

As a result of the accident in question and the spell that sealed away the Vanilla Kingdom, Dark Choco Cookie suffered total amnesia. He remembered basic knowledge and stuff, but he forgot everything about who he was, including his name and where he comes from. But he did still remember that he was a Cookie. There are moments where he can experience deja vu related to his past, such as the licorice smell coming from Licorice Cookie (and probably his name alone tbh) and Dark Enchantress Cookie. He doesn’t know WHY he gets this sense of deja vu and longing, but he does, and it can be pretty distracting at times.

Now, this AU doesn’t get rid of Strawberry Crepe Cookie entirely. The skrunkly still exists in this AU. I don’t really know how I’m going to implement them into the story/setting, but the idea I got not too long ago was that Strawberry Crepe Cookie found Dark Choco Cookie and they’re kinda like a little found family. Obviously this leads to some conflict come Cookie Odyssey and Dark Cacao Cookie finds out that his son is, in fact, still alive. Pretty much hasn’t aged a day and didn’t even know Dark Cacao Cookie or the Dark Cacao Kingdom existed prior to the Council of Heroes, but that’s a topic for another day!

Like, Dark Choco Cookie’s character here isn’t a carbon copy of Strawberry Crepe Cookie. That’s not what I want. Unlike Strawberry Crepe Cookie, who seems to have known how to navigate Wafflebots and data from the moment they gained awareness, Dark Choco Cookie has no idea what is going on. The kid even designed a similar headset for him, one based on the Choco Cone Lancers, and he’s just looking at the data stream like (:D)

At the same time, Dark Choco Cookie’s cluelessness when it comes to technology isn’t solely played for laughs and he’s not just additional comic relief in the AU. Here, he’d be a much stronger opponent than Strawberry Crepe Cookie, especially in terms of the lore and what the boss battle was like from a lore perspective. Because although his brain memory is gone, his muscle (dough?) memory is still there, and he’s an experienced fighter. In this AU’s storyline, Strawberry Crepe Cookie would run to Dark Choco Cookie and be a little tattletale on GingerBrave and friends, and then they’d fight for that reason. Like, what I’m picturing is Dark Choco Cookie holding like a laser cannon and aiming it at the main crew, despite 4/5 (4/6 if you count Healer Cookie) being literal children.

Btw, the name of the AU comes from Dark Choco Cookie’s amnesiac alias, which is literally “Choco Cone Cookie”. He and Strawberry Crepe Cookie could tell that he has a high chocolate count in his dough, and since Strawberry Crepe gave him the similar headset, he took the name “Choco Cone Cookie” after the Wafflebots.

I might write more about this AU and elaborate on it some, maybe even actually write something or draw something (I’d say you can count more on the writing part), and yeah. That’s about it for now.

THIS IS A WHOLESOME FATHER SON BONDING STORY because I do not have a father

It was finally the day of that public event, apparently it's to celebrate getting closer to peace on Earthbread. In all honesty when Dark Choco read about it he thought it sounded like more of a party than a public event, but both could be used so he didn't pay mind. To Dark Choco this event was stupid, there wouldn't ever truly be "peace" on Earthbread, possibly a temporary moment of harmony but true peace couldn't be achieved and last forever. There would always be someone who'd have sinister intentions and succeed in getting away with their plans. It wouldn't last so why celebrate it? Do they want to get their hopes up to then only be met with disappointment? Dark Choco realized that he didn't have the time to dissect this event, he just had to prepare for the day he had been dreading.

A few hours later when Dark Choco got to the event he decided to just wait a little bit away from the party and the noise. He just sipped on a root beer he got at the bar area. He was hoping his father wouldn't show so they wouldn't have to awkwardly communicate and Dark Choco really did not want to be reminded of all tension between the two of them. He looked around again and he saw his father. "Goddammit." he muttered to himself. "I'm just going to walk away and pretend like I never saw him-" Dark Choco turned around and was about to start walking until he was stopped by a firm grasp on his shoulder. "Where exactly do you think you're going?" Dark Cacao said. Dark Choco took a sip of his drink and said "I'm going to get more root beer." Dark Cacao stared at him. "Are you even old enough to consume drinks like that?" Dark Choco was confused he was well over the legal drinking age, heck he was 27! He just looked at his father with a blank expression and blinked a few times. "What? How old do you think I am exactly?" Dark Choco replied. "You're young! You shouldn't be drinking stuff like that!" Dark Cacao said sternly. Dark Choco was starting to get bored of such a conversation. "One, I'm well over the legal drinking age. And Two, if I'm spending several hours with you, I'm going to need more than one drink. End of conversation." Dark Choco replied with a hint of annoyance in his voice. Dark Choco didn't drink often, he was really only drinking because he was going to be bothered by his father all night and he was at what was basically a party so he drank for the heck of it.

At the bar area, Dark Cacao had one goal in mind, get his son to agree to rebuilding their relationship and also not to drink. Ever since the incident at the Pure Vanilla Kingdom during the Council of Heroes he was extremely opposed to even touching the stuff (I'm talking abt the drunk Cacao scene bc that was funny as hell). Dark Choco asked "Why don't you have a drink as well?" This caught Dark Cacao off guard, Dark Choco knew that he didn't drink, right? It could make you vulnerable and could cause problems. His son just stared at him, then look toward the bartender and said "May I have a drink for the person sitting next to me?" to the him. "Why would you-?" Dark Cacao tried to say before he was quickly cut off. "You don't have to drink it, just know the option is there." Dark Choco replied taking a sip of his own drink. "Why not anyways, to my knowledge everyone is supposed to be having a decent time so who cares if you have a drink or not." Dark Cacao had been given his drink and was unsure of what to do. He hated drinking but also he was given it by his son, it'd be rude to just decline. So right then and there Dark Cacao decided to drink the whole thing. Dark Choco stared at his father in confusion "what the fu-" his son had attempted to say be he interrupted him. "Watch your *hic* language, boy." He said drunkenly. "Wait, are you drunk after one drink? The king of the great warrior nation can't hold his liquor?" Dark Choco said teasing him with a smug expression. "Shut up, *hic* It's surprising that you can even *hic* drink!-" Dark Cacao said visibly embarrassed, he then realized something. He drank that willingly, he never drinks on purpose. The last time "he drank" was when Hollyberry forced him to. He zoned out for a second then quickly snapped back to reality, his son was staring at him. "We should probably get you something to clear your head of the alcohol..." Dark Choco said looking off into the distance. "I *hic know! Wait, no no I don't-" He said knowing he screwed up. "..." his son went silent "We don't need to get you anything I thought you would probably want to." His son looked unsure. "Well, *hic* you did say this was a party." He sighed "and that would mean I should *hic* probably set myself at ease." He muttered. Dark Cacao accidentally got another drink and drank it. "Mmmm, th-this *hic* water tastes weird..." He said, his speech slurred from the drinks. Dark Choco was visibly shaking, he held his head down and put his hand on his face. "Father, t-that wasn't w-water-" He attempted to say before bursting into laughter. Dark Cacao stared at him confused and a little irritated but also happy for some reason. "That was another drink, father." He finally said, you could tell he was still amused by his father's delusion.

At the end of the night, Dark Cacao was extremely drunk, he had 5 drinks. While they were walking Dark Cacao put his arm around his son's shoulder for support for walking. "This was *hic* fun!" Dark Cacao said with a look of content on his face. "I- *hic* missed you.." Dark Cacao muttered silently to himself. "That wasn't as bad as I thought it would be." Dark Choco said "You're not as annoying as I thought." Dark Cacao stared at his son. "So you don't think I'm annoying!" Dark Cacao said happily. "No, I said you're not AS annoying as I thought you'd be, you're still annoying don't get me wrong but not THAT annoying" Dark Choco said seriously "*hic* You're so mean son!" Dark Cacao said drunkenly. "How about you try *hic* being nice to your father?" Dark Cacao exclaimed. Dark Choco went silent but continued walking.

After a few minutes Dark Choco broke the silence. "Where do you want me to bring you?" Dark Choco asked. "We're *hic* going to the Black Citadel." Dark Cacao responded. His son appeared to be annoyed, why would he be annoyed? His son was acting sort of weird, first he calls him less annoying than he thought, then he goes silent after Dark Cacao spoke, and now he looks annoyed at the mention of the Black Citadel. "You look deep in thought, what are you thinking about?" Dark Choco asked. Dark Cacao was startled by his son speaking all of a sudden. "You're acting *hic* weird!" Dark Cacao remarked. Dark Choco questioned, "How so?" "W-Well first of *hic* all, you called me le-less *hic* annoying!" "I said you weren't as annoying as I thought you would be, I expected you to be incredibly irritating and you weren't" "O-okay but why *hic* did you look annoyed when I said we were *hic* going to the Black C-Citadel?" "It's just going to be awkward." "Why *hic* is that?" Dark Choco stared at him, he looked irritated and confused. "Are you stupid? I've tried to kill you on several occasions, All of said occasions occurring at or near the Black Citadel. To top it all off, I'm bringing you there drunk. It's going to be extremely difficult to explain." Dark Choco sighed "I didn't intend to be rude I apologize." "I *hic* guess that makes sense" Dark Cacao said as he took his arm off of his son's shoulder. They continued to walk towards the Black Citadel. "Wait." Dark Choco said like he realized something. "What *hic* is it?" Dark Cacao inquired. "YOU COULD'VE WALKED NORMALLY THIS WHOLE TIME BUT INSTEAD YOU SAID YOU COULDN'T AND USED ME AS SUPPORT?!" Dark Choco snapped. "Yes, because *hic* I wanted to be closer to you." Dark Cacao remarked. Dark Cacao and his son went back and forth normally Dark Choco would argue while Dark Cacao would tease him. Until another cookie intercepted. "My King?"

It was Caramel Arrow Cookie, no wonder. They had gotten pretty close to the kingdom so it wasn't surprising. "What is it, I was in the middle of an important discussion" "I apologize my king! I had a question I wanted to ask you." "Regarding what exactly?" "Your son sir!" "... Could it wait?" "Yes, I'll ask you about it later so you can continue! Goodbye!" Caramel Arrow ran off towards the Black Citadel while Dark Cacao turned around and headed backwards towards his son. "*hic* Hi son!-" Dark Cacao managed to say before he was pushed against a tree. "What *hic* was that for!?" Dark Cacao snapped. "Cut the crap. I heard the way you were talking to Caramel Arrow. You're not drunk anymore, and being drunk doesn't go away in a second. So tell me, how long have you been pretending to be drunk." Dark Choco stared at him with a threatening gaze. He hadn't seen this side of his son before, sure he'd seen him trying to murder him but that was full on anger, this was different. It was like he was annoyed and managed to keep his cool so he could turn it into intimidation. "Language Dark Chocolate Cookie. Didn't I teach you not to say words like that?" Dark Cacao grinned. "Do you not like it when I say words like "Crap"?" Dark Choco taunted. "Yes, of course I dislike it. I taught you never to say those words. It's improper." Dark Cacao grumbled. "Crap is only mild profanity father." Dark Choco stated. "That doesn't matter, how long have you been pretending to be drunk." Dark Choco glared at him. "Probably since we were leaving the party and I asked if I could put my arm around your shoulder." "So you had no reason to do that?" "Not NO reason, I wanted to be close to you" Dark Choco dropped him. "You're an idiot." Dark Choco said crossing his arms and his head turned to face the other direction. "But?" Dark Cacao said smugly as he was getting up and brushing the dirt off of him. "You amuse me." He said looking at his father with a small smile. Dark Cacao was filled with joy, his wish to see his son smile came true. "It's getting quite late... W-Why don't you come home?" Dark Cacao faltered. "... You're quite insistent on that aren't you? I'll come with you." Dark Choco sighed. "Alright then, Let's go!" Dark Cacao grabbed his son's hand and dragged him towards the Black Citadel.

Ok so just writing this down here so I can think abt it later. Spoilers for CRK Cookies of Darkness an' Chapter 13-14 an' shit.

Funny au ides where dark choco and dark cacao get a better father son relationship bc I need it

Basic premise understand this is just me jotting down my thoughts at midnight on a school night because my sleeping pills aint working tonight until I write this down nothing special.

Basically Dark Cacao sends Dark Choco flowers in the mail along with a letter with something along the lines of "Hello Dark Choco Cookie, since it's [insert random reason he would give flowers to him like birthday or some sort of holiday celebrating your son idk] I am not sure if you still like plants as they did spark your interest when you were younger, but things change. Enjoy the flowers and please write back if you can. Love/From, Dark Cacao Cookie"

Dark Choco is surprised and despite feeling semi resentful towards his father (much less though since the events of chapter 14) and having no interest in plants and life in the slightest, keeps the flowers as it was a pleasant surprise and he doesn't want to admit it but he was quite happy to receive them from his father.

Dark Choco writes back with a letter speaking about how he was surprised to receive flowers and despite not having interest in plants and life he decided to make an exception just this once yada yada yada. Dark Choco speedruns to the black citadel sneaks into Dark Cacao's room when he's not there leaves the letter on his desk and speedruns back to his home.

Dark Cacao was shocked that the letter was on his desk in his room and nobody knew of a letter or saw anyone go in his room. He writes back about how he was surprised to find the letter in his room and how he suspects dark choco was behind it but asks him not to elaborate. Dark Cacao says in the letter that instead of just writing letters back and forth and eventually running out of things important and worthwhile to write they just talk.

Dark choco recieves letter accepts and they meet in a Coffee shop ig (I like the a hat in time coffee shop au a lot) Dark Cacao and Dark Choco start asking how the other has been and etc.

A third story idea, this one leans more on the headcannon then canon. A bit cracky if you will.

The Darkness's Childminder au

Dark Choco had a good relationships with the younger Cookies of Darkness members despite having tension with Liquorice Cookie and Pomegranate Cookie .

He may have been cursed and a bit rude at times but he didnt go out of his way to give the other members reasons to hate him.

Oddly enough the smaller ones found him more often then not and he accidentally became a sort of friend, a willing ear and absolute silence was something that was appreciated by the others.

He'd mostly just sit there and listen with the occasional grunt or hum at a question here and there.

Choco just wanted to be alone, unfortunately they kept finding him even if he deliberately went out of his way to hide from them. Eventually he just gave up and went with it.

The CoD members were an odd bunch and it makes sense they have odd criteria for friendship.

Unbeknownst to Choco, a few of his actions endeared him to them.

He would eat Poison Mushrooms Shroomies.

He would offer Agar Agar cookie snacks , just silently holding them out to her without looking at her or saying anything to her face.

Strawberry Crepe, he would let them run whatever test they wanted on him and the Sword, though he wouldn't allow them to touch it nor take it from him and he would ask about the results. Something Strawberry Crepe was all too eager to talk about.

Chess Choco twins, he played chess with them , a Lot and would be seen with them perched on his shoulder paldrons like a pair of pineapple parrots.

Matcha cookie was by far the oddest of the bunch in Choco's opinion. With her he kind of just ... listened to her plotting and scheming. Which was apparently enough.

When Choco left the CoD, the children were inconsolable to the point they tried to go looking for him.

Ofc Pomegranate and the Dark Enchantress and Earl Grey cookie wouldn't allow that so they came up with a sort of compromise (that they didnt bother telling Choco about).

Instead of Killing Dark Choco should they cross paths , they would imprison him and demote him to a member of staff. This seemed fair enough to the kids so they started the search.

But Choco is a warrior so it was natural he was trained wilderness Survival, plus he was a former member if their group so he knew their routes and tactics. So for a while the search was a flop.

Until they noticed that areas previously drenched in darkness that were purified had people seeing a cloaked figure with striped black and white hair and a red eye nearby.

Ofc they told Pomegranate this so she kept an eye out and the next time her gems were uprooted she sent out some of the more stealthy members of the Cookies of Darkness armed with tranquilliser darts to get Choco.

The last thing Choco remembered was sipping on some jelly stew he had made in front of a fire and then hearing the crunch of leaves and then a small pinprick in his neck.

He wakes up in 'his' , no the old room he slept in at the CoD base wearing the old black armour.

With Pomegranate off to the side scowling at him. Ofc Choco trys to fight his way out bcs he thinks their going to kill him but then he's informed of his new task and is very confused...

He doesn't get enough time to think about it when the door is opened and the kids come rushing in.

Choco plays his part ( he truly missed them ) but knows he cant stay .

So after a few weeks he eacapes.

The CoD wait for the gems to be uprooted again but when they do its from 3 different places.

Milk fookie and Purple Yam cookie have been enlisted to help and because of the help Choco is significantly harder to locate, though he will leave letters for the CoD to find. Mostly adressed to the kids and they dont say anything that compromise the Ancients side on the war.
