Dark Concoction the Warlock 

New OC ref time? New OC ref time!

Some might recognize the design from that batch of crackship babies I did years ago. Liked the design so much I undid the crackship origin and gave her a new story and background and everything. Then wanted to update her design a bit to fit the MLP canon style for hippogriffs, and I think she rocks it.

The Black Empire is an old RP concept from before Seaquestria was revealed in MLP, they might relate to the hippogriffs of Mt Ares, but quite far out. Where the Mt Ares Hippogriffs are colourful exotic birds, the Black Empire is populated by less colourful corvixes (ravens, crows, magpies and so on). Blackie here is a bit of a mix though, due to a gryphon parent, so she stands out a bit among her peers.

Had fun re-imagining this character for RP purposes.

First shipment of crackship babies. Decided to give them all colour and everything, so it’s gonna take a bit to finish them all...

Anyways, this was fun to start with. One thing is to mix pony traits together. But pony/gryphon? Fun, very fun. Hauer from @redvelvetrunaway and my Skye Gazer from @askstarshot.

Don’t let the cute floof fool you, Ankle Biter (I know I spelled it wrong in the sketching) is named appropriately.

Dark Concoction took up the family tradition of potion making. Lost taste for anything else but her own concoctions.
