Here are three species of orchid seeds showing difference in size. The tiny one is Thelymitra pauciflora, big white one is Bletilla striata and dark brown one is Microtis unifolia.

Dark Field Microscopy

With Dark Field Microscopy, you can see so much MORE and live! This sample is my blood sample.  You can see the long blob marked with the cursor...that is a live blood cell in action.  We can see how well my treatment is doing live and how the cells interact with each other!

When I was first diagnosed, it wasn’t a pleasant experience.  People are living longer and ...well....the system is overworked.  My own family doctor turned me away when she found out another doctor {whom I only met once ..} sent me for a random check to make sure my hormones were okay.  I was living out of town for a short time, turning 5o and thought it was the right thing to do in prevention.   I was introduced to a hormone specialist in Sept 2o15. I received a diagnosis over the phone.  “It’s just a bump...” It wasn’t until mid November I actually seen the first oncologist to learn that I have 2 Cancer markers and on top of that I have the 2o% kind of breast Cancer where they ...don’t make it.   The whole experience was frightening...not the dis-ease itself...!!!

I went to where I felt comfortable and nurtured.  One of the first things I did was book an appointment to have my live blood analysis done.  This microscope is stronger than any lab microscope and we can see how my blood is fighting the cancer.  I have an army full of white blood cells...how comforting!!!

(Dark ground microscopy) describes microscopy methods, in both oil emersion result, the field around the specimen (i.e., where there is no specimen to scatter the beam) is generally dark.  Dark field microscopy is a very simple yet effective technique and well suited for uses involving live and unstained biological samples.
