One depressing Coco-related thought that bounces around in my head sometimes is, what happens to dead babies? Is there a dead baby nursery? We know you always stay the age you died, so the babies just stay babies? Forever? Never get the chance for their brains to develop? Possibly never even develop long-term memory or object permanence? Does this strike anyone else as a horrifying existence?

What she says: I'm fine

What she means: Not only am I going to have to sit in the theater and watch as Lightning McQueen gets brutally torn apart on the racetrack; but I am also probably going to have to sit in the theater and watch as Doc Hudson gets into the horrific wreck of '54. I am going to have to watch as Doc is happy and racing against his closest friends. I am going to have to watch as Doc flips over one of the other races and probably smashes into the wall. I am going to have to watch as Doc flips uncontrollably across the track and gets battered nearly beyond repair. I am going to have to watch as Smokey and the others watch this happen while being powerless to do anything. I am going to have to watch as Doc gets into the very same crash that ruined his career and made the racing world abandon him. I am probably going to have to watch this right after Lightning's crash. I am going to have to watch both of these crashes knowing that they can feel every single thing that is happening to them. I am going to have to watch all of this knowing that Lightning's crash will probably mirror Doc's perfectly. No I am not okay.
