Honestly I never see headcanons about this and you’re really missing out because
Although she’s planned out every detail of her senior year, between Tartarus and Leo’s death, she can’t find the energy to leave camp that fall. This leads to a fight with her father about “wasting her potential to mope”, and further estranges her from her mortal family.
She’s rather resentful of mortals, and sees them as beneath her. This makes her lack of powers all the more frustrating, because she feels it makes her harder to distinguish from just another pathetic human.
Athena never apologized for disowning her when giving her the Mark, and Annabeth never forgave her for that.
Her frustration with the gods only grows from there, for Luke, for Leo, for Percy, and for every sibling and friend she’s lost on a stupid quest.
Soon the list of beings she doesn’t hate is minuscule, and she’s often spiteful even to them, because she can just feel so much RAGE within her.
Her friendship with Piper and Jason is cut off abruptly with a nasty fight over inconsequential, tiny issues.
Everyone is surprised when she forgives Leo immediately when he gets back, but the two of them get closer, sharing anger at the world and distance from the others.
Slowly, she loses motivation, she loses the things that make her happy, she loses everything but her anger at the world, and the only people left to care are Percy and Leo.
