i saw your Mandy post and was wondering if you could do something a bit similar, except it's a male yandere reader x lip instead, and the reader kills Karen like Mandy did? but the reader isn't cruel about it like Mandy and more views it as them "saving" Karen from herself? (if that makes sense)
A/N: oooh interesting concept! I enjoy the parallels drawn between the two fics, I think it's something neat to play around with
Tw: yandere/dark content, male reader, obsessive behavior, mentioned sex/slight sexual elements, underage smoking/drinking, misogynistic/degrading undertones, the reader has a bit of a god complex, drugging/kidnapping, condescension and cruelty disguised as kindness, murder via stab wounds, swearing, brief nonsexual nudity mentioned
Phillip Gallagher, Lip for short. The light of your life, your very reason for living, the person who made you want to get up in the morning even on the worst of days.
He hadn't noticed you yet, not properly, but he would soon enough. Besides, you'd already noticed him, and that's what mattered.
You were just another one of the countless kids who he'd done tutoring for, scheduling more sessions than you needed to just so you could get closer to him. You saw him so often, by this point it was like your soul was woven into his.
Your heart beat for him. It throbbed, it ached. Each thump and thud seemed to be saying his name: Phil-lip, Phil-lip, Phil-lip.
Everything you did seemed to be in his honor. You bought the cigarettes he smoked and the beer he drank so you could consume them yourself and imagine the taste in your mouth was caused by his lips. You poured yourself into classes you never cared much for before so your intelligence would be more on par with his.
Hell, you even had sex with his kind of-sort of girlfriend, pretending that your body was his and hers was yours. This is when your focus shifted ever so slightly, and your attention turned towards her.
It seemed as though he was almost as in to her as you were to him, which you just couldn't stand for. She was so... broken. Not good for him at all.
He could learn to love you once he saw you in that similar light, you were certain. You just needed to find out more about her so you could devise a plan, find a way to simultaneously remove her from his life while inserting yourself in her place.
And the more you learned, the more you discovered it wouldn't be an easy task. She couldn't be simply tricked into leaving, not with everything she had going on.
No, you had to find a way to get rid of her for good. For her sake as much as yours.
Poor little Karen Jackson. With a family like that and growing up in the sort of neighborhood that she did, she never really stood a chance, did she?
You didn't want to call her a whore, as that felt a bit too harsh. But, if the shoe fits...
Maybe she was always destined to be a lost and lonely soul, leeching off people in the search for some poor excuse of attention, of care, of love. Clearly nobody gave it to her, which hardened her once soft heart and turned the caring girl cruel.
No one else could help her. No one, of course, but you.
You understood the pain she lived in, and you wanted to help relieve her of it, saving both her and Lip in the process. She was hurting him, and she was hurting herself, and it was something that simply had to be dealt with. The matter just couldn't be ignored.
How grateful she must've felt, you thought, after pressing the chloroform soaked rag to her angelic face, coaxing her into going to sleep. How grateful that you were the one to save her from this mess.
Other people might have done this with intentions that were perverted or disgusting. But you? You just wanted to help her.
Your touch was gentle when you lifted her into your car, carefully laying her down in the floorboards of the backseat. The trunk would've been too confining, and you didn't want her to lack oxygen.
Not that it would matter, because she'd be gone soon enough anyway. Regardless, you really didn't want her to go that way, suffocating in the back by herself. She shouldn't have to die alone in such an agonizing manner.
After you arrived at your destined location, you stopped the car and got out. It was the same lake that her father had been found bobbing in after his death, and you thought it'd be a fitting place to leave her. Though she had to be properly disposed of first.
When she woke, you'd bound her carefully with rope, making sure it wasn't too tight. You didn't want it to be uncomfortable or chafe her skin. A simple piece of cloth was in her mouth to keep her quiet as you withdrew the knife you'd stolen from your back pocket.
"I'm so, so sorry it has to come to this," you murmured in a voice that was quiet and soft, which did nothing to quell her fear. "You could've been beautiful. But your life destroyed you, and the only way you can be saved is by me."
Her blue eyes widened in terror when you brought the blade up, whispering one last "I'm sorry" to her before you brought it down on her unguarded body, making messy cuts from her chest down to her stomach as you littered her torso with injuries. You could practically feel her essence drifting away, her once vivid gaze turning dull and lifeless as you finally stopped.
Leaning over her, you placed a kiss to her forehead that was mockingly tender, carefully closing her eyelids with two of your fingers. She was then buried in a grave you spent a copious amount of time digging prior to this, on a small area that overlooked part of the lake.
You thought she might like it there. It was calm and peaceful, something her life never had been.
Her body was cradled by the dirt as you filled up the hole you'd placed her in, hands folded properly over her chest. The gag in her mouth and ropes restraining her had both been removed by this point. It felt disrespectful to leave them there since she was already gone.
One last solemn glance was sent the way of her makeshift grave before you finally turned and left. It felt bittersweet. You hated that it had to end like this, but you knew it was ultimately for the best.
Lip moved on from her far quicker than you thought he would, but it probably helped that you did your best to take up the space Karen left behind. Time that he once spent wondering what she was doing had been changed over to you, the quiet boy he met through his tutoring side gig.
There was no confusion on whether you actually liked him or not, no worries about you fucking someone else on the side, not like there had been with her. In fact, he was fairly certain you were too obsessed with him to even consider anyone else. Once Ian walked into the bedroom when he was helping you study with only a towel around his waist after getting out of the shower, and you hadn't even noticed the other boy was there until Lip had spoken to him.
Were you a little odd? Yeah, maybe. He was pretty sure he'd seen you collecting his cigarette butts from outside one cold winter night before you went back home, and you often stared at him far too intently, like you were trying to mentally file away every small detail of his face, but it could've been worse.
You were a good distraction after Karen's sudden departure. A very welcome one, in fact, and he suspected you'd quickly grow to mean much more. And even if you were... strange, in some ways, he was used to that kind of thing from his own fucked up family.
So what if you weren't "normal"? He liked having you around, and anyway, it's not like you were dangerous. He liked to think he knew you pretty well by this point, and it could be said with the utmost of certainty you'd never do so much as to hurt a fly, that he was sure of.
I always find the idea of lip and his s/o when their son grows up to be a teenager fun to think about, like lip (especially yandere lip) is either strict as fuck or he takes his son out places.
But thinking of all the male influences, I love it. Uncle ian and uncle mickey, uncle carl, uncle kev, would lip maintain those close familial relationships even if he was yandere? Like could his girlfriend still hang out with V? Could his son sleep at uncle mickey and uncle ians?
yes i love this idea too!
in terms of yandere/dark!Lip, i think he’d definitely maintain the close family relationships, and even more than his regular self would be.
he wants his son and wife, though kept in a tight grip, to feel like they have freedom.
not sure about Lip letting his son go to ian & mickey’s, mostly because of the weapons they’re likely to have there
his wife is definitely allowed to do things with V, Fiona and Debbie, but no going out without him and he has to know where she is at all times.
Male! Reader is dating Karen, much to yandere! Mandy's dismay, so she plots to get rid of the blonde once and for all (bonus points if she comforts the reader after Karen "mysteriously vanishes")
A/N: this feels very much in canon given her relationship with lip and that whole situation with karen I approve greatly /pos
Tw: yandere/dark content, male reader, mentions of cheating, misogynistic language, swearing, drugging/kidnapping, murder via gunshot(s), cold indifference to taking a life
Mandy loved you. She loved you, and she hated that Karen bitch who wouldn't get out of your life already.
That blonde whore was so stuck-up, acting like everyone and everything had the right to listen to her, like the world owed her something. Like the world owed her you.
Well, it didn't. And every second longer you spent in her clutches, the more and more Mandy felt the urge to scream. You didn't deserve someone who slept around on you, who didn't even know what she really wanted.
Karen might not have appreciated you, but Mandy did. Karen might not have known how to love you properly, how to show you just how much she cared, but Mandy did.
Mandy did, and she was very intent on letting you know. She was always there for you, letting you crash at her place, giving you a shoulder to cry on when your so-called girlfriend ghosted you for the third time that week.
Until the day that Karen left you, and you needed the Milkovich more than ever. To say you were heartbroken was a severe understatement judging from just how devastated you were.
No calls, no texts, nothing to let you know that she was alright. Just a cryptic message left behind on your phone the day before she vanished.
'I can't take this anymore. You're too much for me to handle. I need to get away. Don't come looking for me.'
You always respected her boundaries, so naturally you complied by her wishes and didn't search for the missing blonde, even as worry ate away at your heart. Unbeknownst to you that the real reason for her sudden disapperance came from the second most important girl in your life.
Mandy saw the way that Karen used you, how you were so often mistreated, and it made her blood boil. You were such a sweetheart, one of the only men that she could honestly say made her feel legitimately safe, and you were being strung along like your feelings didn't matter.
That would all stop the night she decided to take the life of your precious girlfriend into her own hands, drugging the blonde and dragging her to the car so she could be shoved into the trunk. Mandy almost hoped that Karen would choke on her own vomit after she duct taped her mouth shut, knowing it'd be an agonizing way to go and would result in less time spent cleaning up afterwards, but no such luck.
A grave had already been dug by some of her brothers, telling them she needed a place to dump the body of a local pervert. Roughly tossing Karen into the hole, the brunette grinned with malicious glee as your girlfriend tried to scream through the duct tape, tears streaming down her cheeks and eyes wide with fear.
"See, bitch? This is what happens when you mess with the people I love," Mandy coolly stated while already beginning to dump some of the soft soil on top of her, enjoying the muffled shrieks of terror far too much. "This is what happens when you play games with his heart and get in the way of true love, not the fake bullshit you keep peddling."
Karen's blood turned cold when she saw the woman above her pull out a handgun from her back pocket and take aim.
"Say goodnight, bitch."
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
Five bullets might've been a tad bit overkill, but at least it was guaranteed that she'd be dead. Using a rag, Mandy wiped the gun free of any stray fingerprints and tossed it off to the side before she finished shoveling the dirt in the hole where her rival's lifeless body laid.
After that was done, she carried the shovel back to her car, sighing when she found a damp spot in her trunk. Karen must've peed herself out of fear when she woke up back there. That'd be a motherfucker to clean out, she already knew.
Rolling her eyes, she tossed the shovel into the back and slammed the trunk door shut. Even in death, the slut still found ways to piss her off.
The very last thing she did before driving away was to pull out the blonde's phone and send you that fateful message. Once she was certain it'd gone through, she dropped it on the ground and smashed it with her heel before getting in her car and driving away, leaving with one less person than she came with.
"I just don't understand how she could do this to me," you sobbed while curled up in Mandy's arms, the brunette gently shushing you as she cradled your trembling form to her chest. Several weeks had gone by at this point, and there was still no sign from Karen. Good riddance.
"Maybe she just didn't really care about you in the way that she said she did," the Milkovich girl gently suggested, doing her very best to keep the contempt and bitterness from her tone when she spoke. "I'd never leave you like that, y'know? I'd never abandon you without a trace."
"Yeah, maybe you're right," you sighed, your sweet face still contorted into that pitiful look of distress that had been plaguing it every since she first went missing. "Maybe... maybe she left on purpose."
Her plan was working. You were finally starting to get over Karen, just like she'd hoped you might.
"I didn't wanna be the one to say it, but I think you might be right." Her voice was soft, soothing, her hand rubbing tender circles on your back. "I mean, if she couldn't even be bothered to tell you where she was going, how much does she really care about your peace of mind?"
Sniffling, you gave a shaky nod and dropped your head down against Mandy's chest, blinking back the fresh tears starting to prick in your eyes. "Yeah... yeah."
She hated to see you so upset, but deep down she knew it was for the best. You'd never be able to get over Karen if she was still around, fucking things up for you.
But now? She was gone, and there was someone else already there, willing and eager to take her place. Someone who would never let you go ever again.
So long, Karen Jackson. It sucked to know you alive, but knowing you dead was sickeningly sweet.
