i am a huge fan of your dkr au, since i adore one sided romances a lot!! i just wanted to ask, what would happen if red got his"just desserts" in a sense. for example, the way he is obsessed with mk, and the way he treats him. what if red got trapped in a mini pocket dimention run by a god, one who can bend reality, shape it and edit it to how he wants it to be, who is equally obsessed with him, if not a little more.
and he's trapped there as a punishment.

"Punishment fitting the crime" saying? how would red react? i have so much info on these two, it is insane i think about writing materials way to much. for example, every time red is close to escaping, this god will just erase the exit, something he could do all along, but he loves seeing red struggle and thinks of it as a "cat and mouse" game of sorts.
but yeah! i just wanted to ask since i would adore to draw the concept (and if i post it i will ofc tag you, and if I write more info on my page, i'll tag you as well!) and write some of it, i just want to make sure i got red's reaction down to a key!!

Thank you so much!! I have a lot of fun with my Demon King Red AU and making Red suffer is basically the cornerstone of it, so yeah the thing you’re describing here totally fits the motif of it 😂
As for his reaction, I feel like if DKR was trapped in a world where he was being tormented by a deity that wouldn’t let him escape, he would only draw further into the madness that has already consumed him. He is obsessed with MK, so his every waking thought is of his darling MK and how he can get back to him. He’s trying desperately to escape, not because he himself is miserable, but because oh no, his precious and wonderful MK must be so worried about him. He has to get back! He has to find MK! It’s not for himself, it’s for MK’s sake!
At first he would fight and kick and scream and try to resist as much as he could- after all, he won’t ever love anyone except for MK, and some interdimensional monster that is trying to win him over has absolutely no chance against someone as perfect as his Darling. When it’s more apparent that his violent resistance won’t get him anywhere, he starts to break down. The misery and the sadness start to win over the anger. He starts to beg. Please. Please let him go back! He has to get back to his darling MK. He must be so miserable without Red around!
Anyway, this is pretty fun and is a fitting punishment considering what he does to MK in the Prince MK bad ending haha
