Following from my post about smoking, this seemed worthwhile posting as well. It is an interesting short video in which, among other things, highlights the cigarette as a signifier between the classes depicted in art. Cigars for the upper, cigs for the lower.
Edvard Munchs' art speaks to me. I can relate to his depression and his melancholy works resonate within me.
His colour palette is something I am trying to incorporate into my project.
