27.Coat
He never took his coat off, whether it be in his house or in public places. Nobody knew who he was. Strangely enough, the only thing the people around him knew about him was about his coat, what it was like, what it was made of, how he got it. They knew everything about it, although they didn't know why he never took it of, but knew nothing about him.
They didn't know who he was, what was his name, his job, if he had any family. They didn't even knew what he looked like. The only thing they could remember when they thought back about him was his coat. Even when they tried to get a better look at him, at his face, tried to make out features, their eyes could only see the coat. They couldn't get to his face, stuck on his simple coat as if a spell had been cast on them to force them to look at it.
They didn't know how long he had stayed, they didn't even know at what point he had appeared in town or when he left. But, one day, they all realized that he was gone and that they wouldn't see him and his cursed coat ever again.
It was weird for everyone, but, they all felt as if something had been lifted off their chest with his disappearance.
Time’s up
Footsteps on the pavement, eyes down, eyes forward Are you still looking for them? Where are they? Why haven’t you given up.
No remorse
You smile
Times up
Look around you Look at them, glancing as you pass them by
You know you don’t belong
You’re not from here
Here, gangs, drugs, clubs reign supreme No place for you
No place for you But you need to find them
Get them back
Revenge has evaded your grasp for eternity,
Times up
Walk into the club
heart pounding
head pounding
mind racing
feet pacing
All eyes on you
All eyes on you
All eyes
On you
Keep walking, eyes down, eyes forward
Music low as is the lights
Look around you
You see girls, men, smokes in the air
Then
You see them
This is it
