I’m just slightly angry atm

If some people (it’s usually just one person pretending to be multiple people) could stop sending hate to @dark-astrology that would be great ya know? Bc She’s honestly one of the best people on this website. We’ve been mutuals for like 2 years now and I’ve seen her get so many hate asks it’s crazy. Literally as I’m typing this she got like 5 more and I’m internally screaming. But she’s amazing because she always answers them respectfully or sarcastically (which both work perfectly). Also, she’s like really smart.. yet you guys think she’s ignorant for simply disagreeing with you!! I don’t agree with a lot of her views but I respect her greatly for still sharing what she believes in and standing behind it 100%. ((even tho yall come for her real quick every time you think she’s wrong))

You guys wanna insult her 24/7 while she’s just sharing her opinions on things YOU asked her in the first place like??????? Just stop. It’s getting old. Find something better to do than send death threats on anon to someone who don’t care ‘bout u anyway!! jeez.

the definition of vegetable is literally ’…part of a plant’ and the definition of fruit is ’…seed-bearing structure in flowering plant’ which means that melon applies to both.

Maybe it depends on what kind of melon it is ? It can also be different in each culture because apparently in some Asian countries, they pickle them and call them ‘vegetable’ while many other countries just say ‘fruit’ -probably because it’s sweet- so i think it doesn’t exactly have an answer. Or maybe it has, but i don’t know it. ╮(°~°)╭

the whole point of pronouns is that they're easily generalizable. if not, why not just use their name instead of a pronoun? the English language is not immutable, but the pronoun class does not readily accept changes and I'm really not sure where I'm not making myself clear on that.

You act as though pronouns have NEVER changed. And of course, they have. The Formal We (sometimes known as the Royal We) is almost never seen any more. Using “one” as a gender neutral pronoun is highly uncommon these days. “Thou” and “Thee”, which once were the most common second person pronoun, have been COMPLETELY phased out. 

Pronouns are easily generalizable, and the acceptance of They as a singular gender neutral and more modern non-binary pronouns like ze and xe (which have been around for DECADES) doesn’t negate that.
