FYI, you can get silk touch on a level 1 enchantment table with no bookshelves. So if they are only allowing level 1 enchantments (like Pearl said when she found the illegal book in the mansion) silk touch would be 100% allowed

this whole speculation has me researching the especific rules of the life series, the mechanics of the enchanting table, villager trading and fishing loot a_a

I highly recommend Silentwisperer and JCPlays for redstone on Bedrock Edition. They make some of the best and easiest to follow and understand tutorials and are always my go-to.

Hi hi hello so. I'm working on the fic I asked you about and I kinda lost track of some details? Is Team Pearl's base the ice fortress or is that Team Etho? I want to set the scene just right for the gruesome, bloody battle 😈

Pearl's team is in a house in the spruce forest that takes up a good bit of the west side of the map, I don't think I really described it much beyond it having a fence around it and it's made from spruce wood, though they had intended to replace all the wood with warped wood eventually. Whether they got around to that, I don't know, so up to you. I don't think they had the time to do much beyond maybe a little bit of replacement

I actually have a really hastily done MS Paint map that I made to have an idea of where everyone's at in relation to each other, as well as a few little notes about the server.

Wow parts of this are hard to read. :')

For those interested tho, it says at the top "Mountains get higher as you go further north. Temperature drops as you climb"

In the middle of the snowy plains, it says "Quite flat, multiple cave entrances. Few trees compared to forest."

Down at the frozen river in the south, it says "Only source of sand." This is also the only place where sugarcane was found earlier but there's none left out there, sugarcane is now only in people's farms

And then to the right at the ice spikes biome, it says "Not much shelter, but enemies are easy to spot coming. Also good for fishing."

How do you feel about receiving fanfic of your fanfic? Maybe Doc's perspective of (I'm trying not to spoil for anyone who hasn't read it yet) the most recent game-changing turn of events in TL?

ooh I would adore that. Tho I also plan to do a side fic from Pearl's perspective covering some major stuff, starting from around midway through chapter 21, to what just happened. But while my fic would be the canon, you're of course free to write your own! I'd love to see other people's takes on what might be going on outside of the main perspectives of the story. :D
