Dark isn’t sure where all of Chase’s energy comes from sometimes. He thought it was from all the coffee and tea that he drinks, but there was one day when Chase didn’t have either and he was still bouncing off the walls. Dark once called Chase his ‘bouncy-boy’ and Chase fell in love with it. He giggled and planted a kiss right on Dark’s lips, giggling more when Dark just stared with wide eyes.
When Chase has a depressive episode, Dark tends to go a little…overboard. Dark will make Chase all of his favorite foods and buy his favorite snacks. He’ll also make, what Chase calls, a nest on their bed. Using all of the blankets, pillows and stuff animals that he can find. Dark will take one of his own sweaters and toss it in the dryer to warm it up and let Chase wear it and then he’ll get into the nest with Chase and let him curl up against his chest while his favorite movies play on repeat all day and Dark just rubs soothing circles on Chase’s back and run his fingers through his hair.
