The movie is a psychological horror called Fear Awaits.Two friends, Tilda and Petula, are on the run from the police after a drug raid. They take refuge at the house of their wealthy friend Daphne. Daphne convinces them to play a game from their childhood where they pretend to be a family. However, the game takes a dark turn as Daphne becomes increasingly delusional and violent. Tilda seems to go along with it, but Petula is suspicious. The girls try to escape several times, but Daphne always finds a way to bring them back. In the end, it is revealed that the entire movie has been part of Tilda and Daphne's game. Petula was the only one who realized it wasn't real, but she is resigned to playing along. The movie ends with Tilda returning home to Daphne as an adult, suggesting that they have been playing their game for many years.
