While we're on the subject of Draven, one of my favourite posts ever in the entire goddamned world was when some anon messaged him and asked him to put a trigger warning on any and all reblogs about the new Devil May Cry game, because "one of his fictives was the old Dante and the new DMC made him really upset". Draven instantly heeled and started verbally kowtowing all over the place, apologizing profusely and promising to never ever do it again. I wish I had a screencap of it because it was pretty magical.

But when he makes fallenagain cry and harasses BSInc or theglassmenageriessecrets, not even a whisper of regret. Nope. Not a bit of it.

I'm just thinking logically. If my soul moved from one life to another, then I'm still the same person, and wouldn't have stopped being a god. But I don't believe I have any powers or can walk on water or anything like that, aside from slight, uncontrolled future telling.

But you’ve still searched for “worshippers”, which makes this seem like delusions of grandeur.

It's not like I'm creating all this in my head, at least, not consciously, so I don't have all the explanations. Japan was my home, my elven body in my memories looks Japanese, and I lived life like a Japanese human. I don't MEAN to be racist, and I don't WANT to be. Like I said, I rarely rarely talk about it, and don't care to make a point of telling people. It's just a personal thing I'm not really even open about anymore.

Well, if you lived life like a human, why hate being human if you can live life the same way? And you could always live life like a Japanese human without being ethnically Japanese because other than cultural differences and social baggage, THERE IS NO REAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HUMANS OF DIFFERENT ETHNICITIES!?!

Elf, not animal. Lived in Japan and at least looked Japanese. I don't know myself, really, it's kind of confusing. But I feel most at home with Japanese culture and feel truly Japanese more then I am white, regardless of species. Even if I was an elf living in some elf land, I'd still feel homesick for Japan and such. *shrugs* I don't mention it much at all save for the ocasional below-the-cut post when I feel dysphoria over it, and would rather not make a big deal over it.

OK. But why would elves have the same ethnic/racial divisions as humans? You can love a culture and live in that culture without being a specific ethnicity/race.
