Sup, I’m genuinely surprised Chrome saved the password for this account.  Both Amethyst and I have moved onto other shit but apparently our favorite awful people have not!  I stumbled upon a very large and detailed thread about Karkat Prime’s past and present antics.  Apparently she’s gotten more abusive and more creepy, being a currently 19-year-old adult who pretends to be 16, dates a harem of 16-year-olds, and lives in the home of a 16-year-old partner who she mutually self-harms with.  Like holy shit.

I absolutely recommend reading this thread from front to back like I just did.

There are several exes of KP who make appearances to share logs and stories about her abuse.  It’s bad.

Since (hopefully) the Kiwifarms guys are going to find this post, hi!  When going through pre-2012 Karkat stuff always double check that you’re not stumbling across the workings of Kaine, ANOTHER crazy otherkin/multiple who had a Karkat kintype, abusive relationships, and a collection of self-diagnosed disorders and conditions.  There were a few times I stumbled across one or the other and couldn’t tell who was who.  I could be remembering wrong, but I think Kaine had a fixation on Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh, while Karkat Prime never mentioned YGO.  Also one of the blogs I think was Kaine was trying to pass off mpreg troll egglaying roleplay as real kinfeels.

Idea

Someone should make a blog called 'But How Is That Offensive' and people could send asks about why people get mad at them for making rape jokes or whatever.  And the blog writer would try to explain the social justice stuff in a simple and patient way.  I don't think anyone would actually learn or benefit from a blog like that but all the super entitled butthurt dudebro responses would be amazing.

So my vacation was awesome, and I see that the blog is still in one piece.  I guess I'll score that as a win.  I also notice that while I was gone, Draven changed blogs AGAIN, and is still a terrible piece of shit.  Right now, he's arguing with a new Bullshit incorporated, and failing miserably.  I particularly love how this moron cries about being "misgendered," when he's one giant transphobic idiot.  Also, in his new blog, he can't even spell the word "infinite."  Keep in mind folks, that this idiot seems to think that he's some kind of writer.

I’ve realized how blind I am to try and argue against these hate blogs for culling and publicly humiliating people. How can I expect these children to respect their fellow being when lifestyle policing is all the American culture seems to know?

I guess I forget these things because I choose to not burn my brain out watching so-called ‘news’ shows or channels.Not all of them are bad, but most of the big-name ones are full of brain-washing, school-feeding bullshit. In fact, the only channel I even watch is Animal Planet and that is a rarity in its own and usually only for a select few shows. Even Animal Planet and Discovery Channel have become a lot less about education and a lot more about ratings and profit. I choose not to read news articles (except when I need to debunk a myth going around Tumblr) or even look at the highlights on the homepages of my various email accounts, because media is so loaded with twisted truths, complete lies, and an obsession with butting into other people’s business.

It’s a sad truth; People confuse media with facts, and the two have not coexisted in a great long time. It’s only worsened by the hive-mind and sheep syndrome that the entire civilization buys into. Every magazine, every channel’s commercials; what do you see? Obsession with women’s body weight, women doing housewifery (commercials about cleaning products and children), what women are choosing to do with their bodies. It’s disgusting. That this is what the media culture is about and it’s disgusting. 

How can I expect children and young adults on the internet to not go around picking people apart and making a mockery of others based upon their own ignorant opinions and guidelines for how everyone is to act when this is what the adults of the generation just slightly older than my own are teaching them???

It’s everywhere. Dedicatedly ruining people’s lives is EVERYWHERE. The internet and the USA is OBSESSED with it. It’s completely revolting and so is the fact that no one seems to get why this is a huge problem that’s shaping the morals and attitudes of our younger generations.

Do you sometimes ignore asks? I sent one in about something you might want to look at because it seems relevant to the blog and you never published a response. Just wanted to find out that you had gotten it, it's fine if you didn't want to take the advice/didn't agree with me. :)

Taking a quick break from packing for my cruise to answer this, since we get this question every now and then.  If only you could see our ask box man.  We get a ton of asks every day which includes all sorts of questions and comments, ranging from pissed off otherkin/multiples, morons like Draven trying to weasel their way into our good graces, and all kinds of tips, info, and people being supportive.  It's very easy for stuff to either get memory holed, or just lost in the clutter that is the Tumblr messaging system. 

Other times, we don't respond because responding would give away information that either we're not ready to release, or we have been asked to not reveal yet, or ever.  We care about the folks that supply us for information, so on those cases it would be up to them to allow us to release information.

Anyway, in regards to your ask, to be completely honest, it could have gotten lost, or we just forgot to follow up on it given the volume of asks we get per day.  So it's nothing against you at all.  Feel free to re-supply us with information, but be aware, I'm going to be on vacation including the following week, so it's just my sister running things right now (and I can already see she's being chaotic about it).  So if you send us the information again, it might be a while before we respond to it given current circumstances.

Anyway,  I've already spent too much time writing.  I need to get back to packing and I think my camera needs a recharge. -am
