This clearly wasn’t home and Kurt was very interested in knowing where he was and how to get back to his home. He had some rather important unfinished business to attend to and he needed to be where he belonged to do it. More importantly, so did several others.

Whenever Kurt had questions like this, he usually found that Raven had a good idea of what was happening.

It took a lot longer than normal in this familiar, but very different city. Kurt tried to check all the normal places she might be, but they seemed to be in different spots or to not exist. He’d mostly been ignoring and avoiding the robots in the area, but he finally got close to one, wondering if he could help him.

Before Kurt could ask it a question, he saw the robot start to scan him.

“Subject identified. Kurt Wagner.”

“Wagner?” Kurt asked it and though he didn’t expect a response, he wondered who on earth that could be. He’d never had a case of mistaken identity in his life, besides if Raven decided to look like him.

“Species: Mutant. Physiological abnormalities detected. Subject is unviable.”

“Unviable?” Kurt asked, a bit offended and surprised at the notion.

“Stand by for extermination.”

“Shall I demonstrate what unviable means, ein freund?”

Right before the AI was able to open fire, Kurt drew his sabers and charged. Though the long limbs were covered with armor, this particular one had small parts of their joints mostly uncovered that fit his blades perfectly. After hacking off both of its arms at the shoulder and removing its head, he kicked the head as though it were a child’s ball .

“Unviable, ja?” Kurt shook his head at it before looking up and seeing that three more were approaching. He couldn’t help but give a small grin as he readied his weapons.
